in defense of this staff lol

I understand that but we should have Howard, Burns, Elder, Dowels and Moreau. (instead of Mayes, Dortch and Hope...two of which are gone)

Yup.

Don't forget about the 5'7 corner from coral reef in Davis. SMH.

We could/should be loaded at CB right now but we're not, and part of the reason is their "evaluations".

A CB competition between Howard, Elder, Dowels, Burns, Moreau, and Hoggins (another kid we should've offered) would be nuts.

I have sent the staff a few recruits. I will give names because 2/3 I coached or worked directly with. The first is Rashaan Gaulden 4 star DB from Independence HS, now a DB for UTenn. He's originally from Miami and was practically begging for a UM offer. Would've committed on the spot (those are his words). The second is Tylin Oden 4 star QB Spring Hill HS (I was the DL coach for SHHS last season). The 3rd is Dylan Phillips DE at Centennial HS. Dylan has offers from Purdue, Iowa and Ole Miss. Never even a returned email or message for any of these kids. Oden's HC is a former Cane OL. I believe he's either committed to Louisville or is going to be. I'm now Independence HS so I haven't been keeping up with his recruitment.

The biggest loss here is Gaulden. We already have Allison at QB for 16' so not a huge loss and he's a better QB. Oden is a legit 6'6" and is in the mold of Streeter but without the 4.4 speed. I'm not sure he will cut it at Louisville. Dylan is very similar to Chickillo. I started working with him when he was 15 (6'4" 225lbs). He's still growing and has a great motor.

Now that I am over at Indy I'll keep some updates on who we have coming through. We are 5a and have a real legit shot to take the state title this year.

Gaulden would have been a nice pickup and would have helped with our terrible depth at safety. Plays just like Bush, but not quite as explosive. A Devin Studstill clone.

Just noticed our terrible depth at safety. A lot has to go right for us to be decent at safety in 2016. After this season, we'll have: Carter (as a senior), Quan, and Knowles as the only returning safeties SMH. Carter hasn't shown he can be relied upon, yet. Knowles is a project. They might have to move one of those true freshman corners that were NEEDED for depth at corner over to safety LMAO. Also, we have only 1 safety that's committed to us for next season with no other big name that we have realistic chance for other than Studstill. There are no other big name safeties coming out of SFL for next season.
