That won't change losing to UNC with 2 weeks to prepare. Barely beating St Brendans (aka Central Michigan). Losing to a below average VT team AT HOME, and the somehow finding a way to lose to a HORRIBLE GT team transitioning from being an option offense.

It's a wasted season at this point. We had the cupcake of all cupcake schedules that could have really helped Manny prop himself up in his first year and help us in recruiting.....all of that is already lost.
 
BTW to get the record straight my post was about a general malaize we all seem to feel right now. But there is still a U on the helmuts at 3:30 on ABC. I am holding on to the theory we can be dominant and this is a perfect game to show that. At the very least we win and we have a 2 game winning streak. I wait with baited breathe it's just I get this strangled feeling. It can change today and must change ! We shall see. I'm out.

It's important for recruiting. It gives us a +.500 record. Yeah, that's obviously not the standard, but it's important. It gives us a 3 year streak over those azzholes and next year is at home. It avoids us losing to UF and F$U in the same year and giving up bragging rights to both programs.

Yeah, the talent is nowhere close to where it needs to be for us, but that doesn't mean this is not a very important game.

If you're into a class full of 3 stars...yeah.....I guess.

The level or recruiting we want to get to requires WINNING games you SHOULD win. It means not losing to crappy teams like UNC, VT, and a transitioning GT. The opportunity was there to have a great season and REALLY ramp up recruiting.

At this point, it's been ****ed away. Even if we win out we're still dealing with the negative perception that we're a middling ACC team who can't consistently beat those other middling teams.

3 star city.

same here.. used to fly down for this game and it was always amazing atmosphere.. could never sleep the night before, etc.. I woke up this morning and had to look at my phone to see what time, and who, we were playing today.. ;(

Our offensive scheme and execution isn’t better than what I see from FSU offense! We go 3 and out so often that it’s comical. Factor that with inept redzone scoring and I don’t believe we are the better team

There's nothing we can do about the games we ****ed away. The question is do we want to keep ****ing away games against hated rivals. I don't, which is why it's an important game.

What I want is to fix the problem. Does going on a little meaningless mini winning streak to end the season give the administration more or less impetus to possibly change things up?

THAT's what I care about. Recruiting and everything else is collateral damage. I don't want to put another band aid on the bigger problem.

I used to be the same! This administration has made me numb to college football! It’s like by end of September and I was thinking about who our next coach will be! That’s all I have to look forward to

If I truly believed today's game would have some bearing on whether Manny and his band of clown coaches remain, I'd root for F$U. But I am 100% certain that Manny could lose 49-0 today and he will be back next year.

The bigger problem here is not whether the administration will change things up; it's the administration itself.
 
Nothing changes until Blake James is fired. Next step is to hire a more than competent, proven AD. Until this occurs, nothing changes.
