In all my years

And your old as fvck OP being a Cane since 1060

I've seen worse nobody hardly remembers the Charlie Tate years in the 60's back then we never beat FSU or the gator but I was 10 years old and there were no pro sports so even then I was excited for The Hurricanes. It all changed with Saban and then Howard. So naturally expectations changed. But we could be getting back to even our best fans just not caring that would be a very low low.

The experience of watching who will be more incompetent and bad football in general isn’t much improved just because it’s FSU.

It's just harder to get too excited because of the bipolar nature of this team.

But my lack of excitement in no ways translates to not wanting to beat the snot out of them.

And I am getting up there I go into a Miami vs Fsu game with absolutely no excitement. Not that I don't think both teams are fairly talented should be a close hard fought game.
But I am on the fence . I Truly think we need to win this game to show a long term fan Like myself I can get excited again for Hurricane Football....that we aren't just looking at a carbon copy of the last 15 years. It's the perfect time to get to a higher place. GO GANES !
Dude I am with you and I have been a Canes fan since 1979. But at the end of the day its FSU and we need to kick their ***.

Let’s assume manny some how becomes a good coach. At best this isn’t happening for 3-4 years.

he needs to fire the entire offensive staff. OL and WR coaching is particularly bad from both a development and recruiting perspective.

I have never cared less.
This is me as well. I am so disgusted with what I have seen, I can't get excited about a win over FSU that will prompt Blake James to extend Manny another 10 years. IF we win, Manny will act like he won the national championship. It won't matter if we win by FSU committing 85 self inflicted gun shot wounds, he will still act like everything is just great. The rebuild is going as planned.

This game is not a referendum on the Diaz regime. This coaching staff sucks and will not last at Miami.

Regardless, beating FSU is always paramount.

Geez, a pity party on game day? Snap out of it guys. It is Canes-FSU game day. Yes, the season has not turned out like we would have liked, but hopefully they can improve and build off of last week. If not, Diaz will be gone eventually. All we can do is go along for the ride.

I used to lose sleep at night before a Miami - fsu game. I did not even think about it last night. That says it all.

dude, I’m with you... years ago I couldn’t even sleep waiting for this game, anxious as ****, and then to jump on (whatever website: grassy, canesport) to talk ****; win or lose!
Today, for the first time in my Hurricane fan career, I didn’t even reply to one single post this last week.....the last 4 head coaching hires can do that to you...
LET’S GO CANES!!!

I would be more excited if one team was good. We could have a chance to knock off a ranked FSU team or keep our ranking going.

Maybe in another decade....

Was just telling the same thing to my sister (Nole fan) this morning. Completely indifferent

I'm with you 1060. I once bought a car from Lou Saban. Remember Coach Tate very well.
