It was originally the Nick Bolleteri Tennis Academy that was started in 1978. He trained players like Andre Agassi, Boris Becker, Martina Hingis, Jelena Jankovic, and Monica Seles. He started with a small tennis club and kids literally living in his home. Then he borrowed $1 million dollars and built a complex in a former tomato field. He loved to coach good players and he gave out so many scholarships that he went broke and had to sell to IMG in 1987. Man was a legend in the tennis world.

Very few coaches in any sport at any time has had a hand in coaching the kind of talent like he did. He's a legend in any coaching circles.

@Rickd is correct. Started with tennis and golf and kept expanding. They put a lot of emphasis on mental health and mental training. Tuition for a boarding student gets up to $90,000 a year.

Politicians, CEOs, large farmers and landowners are just concerned with the short term profits and could care less if they sell their grandchildren’s future down the river.
This not exclusive to Americans either, the Chinese are buying up land and institutions all over the world, including Europe, Africa, Australia. You would think politicians would do something to stop it, but they are all corrupt and on the take, so they don’t care as long as they get a cut of the deal.

It’s crazy man. We’re more than likely see Chinese president than a black or Spanish president.

If you have small children or young grandchildren you might want to have them check in to see if Chinese is an elective in middle and HS…if not you might want to get a Tutor …French,Spanish or Latin won’t be unless they’re gonna be In medicine and might use the Latin a little…

I don’t believe it’s a matter of being xenophobic. It just so happens that the Chinese are buying incredible amounts of asstrs in the US and we should be concerned. It could be any other country doing the same and we should/would have the same concern.

My kids went to North Broward Prep, a Nordanglia school. The Chinese bought Nordanglia from the Brits, and now they have 79 schools in 32 countries.
