I came across this list. Is this really accurate? If so, how in the world did all of these kids end up on one HS roster? All in the same graduating class as well. Wow!

Someone educate me on IMG. Ive seen the name mentioned here many a time but don't know much about the school or program.

Think of them as the Oak Hill of high school football, it's just a football factory and not much of a school.
 
How is that we have not one player committed to us from there, but Notre Dame and OSU have TWO each?

On another note, neither does UF.
 
don't even consider them a genuine High School anymore it's essentially a College prep program.
 
My wife works at Brentwood High School here in Nashville and had a kid transfer in from IMG. She said that essentially none of these kid's class credits were transferable and they had no idea what to do with him. The classes there are pretty much a facade for a giant sports program, as you well know. I'm really not sure how I feel about it. That's not high school in my opinion but I'm not a potential NfL draft pick either

Here is something interesting! Although IMG has alot of top notch D-1 talent...STA currently has 26 players with D-1 offers... Thats Insane!

As i understand it, Brentwood isn't a bunch of slouches on the sports front either, right? Lots of Nashville money invested in athletics there. My brother in law has kids at a school nearby (CPA?, I think). He has told me Brentwood is very good in sports. Point is, IMG must be ridiculous, as evidenced by that roster.
 
Good thing we got steve walsh in there, and weinke out. Paying off in spades.

Problem is Walsh isnt coaching, he is filling a Director of player/personnel type role! Dont know how much of a mentorship he is to the players as Weinke was as an HC! Also IMG's WR coach is a FSU alum, too! EG Green!

I think you might be talking about Brentwood Academy......I think Jalen Ramsey went there..
 
its not even a prep school

its literally acres of field space where they have dorms and state of the art facilities to help you train and diet properly
 
According to one person I spoke to about it, they said it's essentially college for high school kids. You live by campus and go to class and play sports, that's it.

You're thinking of the Brentwood Academy. and yes they invest a lot as well but IMG is a different level. My wife works at the public school. The point is IMG is not an institute for learning. It's an institute for staying eligible while they get you into a D1 program.

You're thinking of the Brentwood Academy. and yes they invest a lot as well but IMG is a different level. My wife works at the public school. The point is IMG is not an institute for learning. It's an institute for staying eligible while they get you into a D1 program.

Which makes it about 10 X better an institute for learning than the schools in Dade County.
