Only going into their 3rd year of football. Will they become the St. Thomas Aquinas of the Tampa Bay Area. Will they be able to recruit or is it exclusively big money parents sending their kids there? Between St. Louis and Fines apparently transferring there we are off to a good start relationship wise with the school. Bo Scarborough (Transfer from Alabama) to Bama and Michael O'Conner (Transfer from Ottawa Ontario) to PSU last year. Marcus Lewis wanted to transfer there from DC. They will have talent apparently, going forward.

They also have some facilities. I saw some photos of their locker room that would put most colleges to shame.

I think they will be like STA but recruiting from a National perspective which is scary. There schedule last year was very competitive and thy won most games only in the 2nd year.
 
St. Thomas can't touch these guys, they recruit nationally and have cough cough cough Angel donor tuition assistance.

I'm excited about this and more so about getting the U into Tampa. We have done very well there the last couple of cycles.

Not classified yet, since they just started the football program. Plus they will play more of a national schedule. Could have multiple games on TV this year.

This. IMG Academy is known all over the world, not just in Florida but all over the world, for producing athletes in a number of different sports. We're talking a whole other level of preparation here.

It's a sports academy first, and a high school second. If they get their football program up and rolling, I fully expect them to be among the most dominant and to produce the most D1-ready players of...really...anywhere.

The only thing that sucks is that it's in tampa and not Miami. We gotta plant our flag there soon and keep it planted there.

Glad it is in Tampa. Sure, more neutral territory means we won't be THE dominant program. However, hopefully the stronger structure of the academy will keep out people like Drummond and Tunsil.
 
Their first game is one on Fox Sports. It's a against some little team from tally that has no chance against them.

And I'm pretty sure the FHSAA will not accept them so they can not make the playoffs.
 
Also, between this and getting a Juco in Miami.... man... recruiting in Florida is going to change forever.
