Obviously with the Pitt loss, we are in the exact same position we were going into the Ga Tech game making the game somewhat irrelevant. Of course, there are a lot of questions especially on the defense but this season is more exciting than we could have anticipated and the brand will get stronger because of it. We will beat WF, no question. Have a slight concern with Syracuse because I just get the feeling they are going to put together their best game of the year like every other team we have played this year with the exceptions of a few and make it another nail biter. Cam and the offense is just too good to lose both of those games imo. I also think we have a solid shot in the ACCCG as we will be favored over anyone we play. 4 seed is still in play. LETS GO!!!

Cool I don’t give a **** what you or anyone else ******* thinks on this board. You all are sitting here trying to think positive but when in reality this team just lost to a 5-4 team and has the worst d in the country.
cool, because you’re wrong and you can STFU and quit your ***** and go change your tampon. All you ever do is *****.

I'd have run to the sign-up sheet to use a sharpie to write us in for 9-1 headed to the 2nd bye and a guaranteed "win 2 and you're in" to Charlotte, while beating UiF and fsu by 50 points or whatever it is. In a ******* heartbeat.

But gotta to finish the job now. Win the next 2. Get to Charlotte. And win the **** thing for once. Winning the ACC is a successful season, no matter how much the bipolar boys around here want you to think otherwise.

But you gotta get that done, or else it's a step in the right direction, but it feels empty. Losing 1 of the next 2 would be crazy disappointing and really put a **** taste in our mouths for the off-season. Losing in Charlotte would suck, albeit a little less. But we'll cross those bridges when we get there. For now, being 9-1 headed into Bye #2, if you asked in August, 100 times out of 100 I'm taking that. Go finish.

What am I wrong about? This team losing to a 5-4 team? The defense being absolutely pathetic? Mario being a choke artist? Yea **** right off.

Would you rather be Notre Dame, who's ranked higher than us and lost to a 5-4 FCS team?

You might want to take a step back and recenter.

Is it just possible that some people on CIS derive far too much of their emotional state and sense of self worth from the results of a game in which they play absolutely no part?

I realize that question steps all over the concept of being a fan, but fan itself is short for fanatic, which means the word was not originally intended to be a compliment. I’m upset about the loss as well. I live in Atlanta and will spend another 12 months hearing about how GTech saved their season again by beating UM. That is very annoying. But that is all it is; annoying. My life did not change one bit and neither have any of your lives.

So relax just a little, maybe go from 100 mph to 65 mph. Hug your families, read some books, do something other than tie up all of your energy into college football. You don’t play, you don’t coach, you aren’t part of the admin or player development staff. You just get to enjoy the entertainment that others provide.

Fans' discontent and criticism are not from a win -loss point of view...
It is what has been displayed on the field... just mind numbing this late into the season... and the diminishing hope of any of this being fixed this season.
Just an average Cane defense from past decades would have had us saunter into the playoffs this season. Instead we have another potential disappointment of a season inspite of the best offense we have seen since the inception of this program...

This is very fair but also you're being far more rational than the vast majority of posts I've read the past 2 days.

I’d rather take the defenses Dorito put out there. Look at who was out there. Perryman, Deon Bush, Artie Burns, Corn Elder, Rayshawn Jenkins. What NFL players are on this current d? Barrow, Bain, and OJ?

I hate defending ND but look who they beat compared to Miami.
Yes, but if it was us, we'd still be defining our season by having lost to NIU.

We're already 2 wins ahead of where we were last year. We got very lucky with Cam Ward. We're not where we need to be yet, but we're still building. Look how many portal players are starting and you can see where we still need to build depth.

We may not win it all this year, but it's been a great season so far. Enjoy the ride.
