Offer him $3.5M and a budget for the other coaches of $4M and we will play for ACCCC next year. The man just has the "it" coaching factor.

Sigh...How many times do we have to go over this?? We need Butch back ...so we can have a pro style offense again and things are going to magically turn to 2000 all over again and if God doesn't deem us worthy of almighty Butch then we must get corch Strong...and we back! No need For a X&O's genius coach who knows what he's doing. We jus need a 'crooter and we back! Did I get it right?
 
the school is on record saying thy want a proven guy with head coaching experience. not saying he wouldn't work just saying what the school has said

I'd be good with that. He's one of a small pool that I think would turn the program around in one offseason. I have to think that every win the team has without a real head coach makes the gig more attractive to someone like Herman.
 
Herman may be an up-and-coming talent at HC. Ten years from now he may be the next Urban Meyer. At this juncture Miami needs someone with a better resume than beating Louisville, Navy, and Memphis.

I think this is a valid criticism of Herman, but I'm of the opinion that he'd kill it here. Look at the giant step back that Ohio State's offense has taken without him.
 
Herman's a member of Mensa....he knows enough to turn down USCe and knows the damage he could do in Miami
 
Held Navy to 147 yards rushing for an average of 3.9 per rush. This should answer any questions of his DC being a good one. Herman would impose his will on Miami's opponents, I'm completely sold.

Houston really knows how to pick their coaches. I think Herman would kill it here.
 
Herman is our man you guys keep bringing up non sense all we need is a coach that gets the most of its players and knows how to call a game Herman has both and more.... reminds me of a Jimmie Johnson type of players coach that goes out and gets it done
 
Not coming for $3.5M. If he's our guy, and he's definitely on the A list, pay him what it takes. Next week is going to tell us a ton about who we are really targeting.
