Not worth this thing affecting my health. Why should I care when the people running the show do not. Right now UM Admin./Coaches and true fans are not compatible.

See you guys again in a couple of years after two more disastrous seasons and when the MR buyout is more palatable for UM's Admin.

It's not about the U anymore and definitely not about winning either. Unfortunately the downward spiraling will continue. MR was not, is not and will not be the answer that the U has needed, is needing and will need. He is a **** of a nice person though. Props where deserved.

Thanks for the announcement. We're all very shaken up about it. We'll try not to miss you.

you'll be back in less than 24 hours.....it's an addiction and we all have it.
Not for me. I can quit any time I want to...really, I can. I just don't want to right now. It's just like the cocaine thing, I can quit whenever I want to, but it's complicated. At least that's what my shrink says.

First off don't be a bandwagon fan and come back when things get good. This is part of being a fan unfortunately gotta ride the lows with the highs.

Second if it's affecting you health then you need to talk to someone. It's just sports man...i used to get ****ed also on Saturdays until I realized how it made me look in front of my kids and especially the day I snapped at my 5 year old after a Cane loss. Had to reevaluate everything. I love the Canes and am a die hard fan. I'll be in NYC next week to cheer them on, but don't ever let it affect your health or well-being

Well said. But my kids have learned that is just part of being a diehard Cane fan (which they both are also required to be if they want to continue residing under our roof and both have fully jumped on board with). Daddy is loud and crazy during Canes games. Daddy does a lot of strange pregame and ingame rituals. Daddy stands the entire time and yells at the TV a lot. The house erupts after big plays, even in small games. Though I've never channeled my frustration AT THEM, they understand that Daddy gets very angry when the Canes lose.

No need to hide this from them. It is part of the fabric of their lives, whether they want it that way or not.

I hear you. I did the same thing to my 4 year old. The look on his face was soul crushing. The next day I sold him to some gypsies. Now I can be as emotionally irrational as I want without feeling guilty.
