Didnt we do a prevent defense on the goal line?

seriously though, how many times under that regime did we have a 3rd and 5 and line our defenders 10 yards back?

Since Manny started here we have given up 30 or more points 13 times. Under Golden that happened 26 times over 5 years.

Yeah that’s a bit deceptive cuz Donofrio defense kept opposing offenses on the field all game. Miami was a slow pace team under Golden.
 
Doritos was the worst. With that said Baker needs to be gone and Manny needs to hire a DC that can do for the defense what Rhett did for the offense.

Anytime a defensive coordinator puts in you in the history books for the wrong reason, he should be let go the next day. No questions. The 778 total yards/554 rushing yards graphic from Miami-UNC 2020 will be shown ad infinitum for the next 100 years. If any team is having a monster rushing performance, that **** will be plastered all over the screen...like how they show the Flutie play any time a game comes down to the wire and only a few secs remain. I hate Manny as our head coach and I know he's not the guy but it is absolutely beyond comprehension how that POS Baker still has a job at The University of Miami as of this morning.

What? By that logic, Donofrio would have given up less points. If Miami had a slower pace offense under Golden more clock would have been chewed which would have resulted in fewer plays and time on the field for the defense. We are ranked 105th in the country at time of Offensive possession at 27:58.
2011 - 51st @ 30:09.
2012 - 121st @ 26.22
2013 - 123rd @ 25:21
2014 - 78th @ 29:24
2015 - 53rd @ 30:32

So two of the 5 years we had less time of possession than this year.

2016 - 94th @ 28:26
2017 - 121st @ 26:35
2018 - 77nd @ 29:18

Under Enos and Diaz

Well with NoD at least his safety's were 40 yards off the ball so the long runs don't turn into TD's I guess..

Dude trust me. I hate both Donofrio and Manny.

Donofrios defense was death by a thousand cuts.

His defense also never made any plays. Zero turnovers
 
The comparison is ridiculous. The reason we're having the comparison is even more ridiculous.

Just fix the **** problem. Don't mince words. Don't blame a "general malaise", Just take action.

Yep!! The only way we fixed the offense was to get a new coordinator.

We must do the same thing. Putting a bandage on a hole only makes it leak slower.
