Ain't nothing saving Manny at this point. But the '01 Canes deserved a Canes victory tonight, and I am more than glad that TVD, Rooster, our slightly improved tackling, and NC State's WRs made it possible.

I can't imagine those 2001 ballers felt anything but numbness regarding what this program looks like two decades later. Nothing about that win felt like a win.

Loved when Ed Reed was on a podcast days later and the interviewer called it a big win and his eyes got all wide and dismissive; body language saying a one-point win over NC State is far from a "big win".
