Why would you be ashamed of a middle name no matter what it is?
Its very feminine.
But I guess being Edward Diana Brock, you'd understand.

Hating on our own players. Great thread.
He was the Top DT of his class..not understanding where the hype would come from is not understanding your own fan base..just like posters/fan think Zo is the best RB but we won’t play him..it’s all a conspiracy
Worst fan base in the country

This fan got mad because he said he ain’t sapp, some of you cane “fans” need a reality check. Some of y’all hate the players so much, go be a fan somewhere else
All the kids done is get get injured, be fat and run his mouth at UM but all of a sudden he's getting Sapp comparisons.
laughYeah. Its seems the VAST MAJORITY of incoming Hurricane recruits come in with the ALL-AMERICAN hype and what not. Go figure.
Yeah the conspiracy is that these recruiting sites are clueless. Nesta and Lingard had no business being ranked where they were and I said that when they were being recruited. I wasn't the only fan who liked Davis/Harris better than Lingard.
Nesta is a motor guy. He's physical and pursues hard to the ball. The rest of his traits are underwhelming. We've been through this before with Forston who was overrated and hurt half the time, but at least Nesta will compete harder.
Lingard is a high-cut, straight-linish upright runner. That skillset doesn't translate well to higher levels of football. Darren McFadden, Derrick Henry and Tevin Coleman are examples who failed to live up to the hype in the NFL. Hopefully Lingard will get healthy and develop into a Coleman type, but even then we need an OL that can spring him into open space.

Texas folks has always laughed and wondered what's with all the camps and the over reach of alot of players in Florida. Texas is a different animal to say the least.
Lol some of y’all still haven’t let that **** go when Nesta was bullying Tommy Kennedy in the spring![]()
No, we are not in agreement on this. Both are elite prospects. But the OP said he didn’t understand the hype. The hype comes from them being national prospects that everyone wanted. That has our delusional fan base excited. But, per usual, the fans take it too far with their expectations. Truth is both have just been injured that’s held them. Both need to play in order to let their talent shine. But at the same time expecting them off injury to come in play like the freaks they have the raw talent to be is premature. Lastly Marcus forston was not overrated, just injuredYeah the conspiracy is that these recruiting sites are clueless.
