You young, similac-breathed heathens couldn't think if you were forced to. You make Homer Simpson look like Hawking.
Look, it's simple. This isn't about flops from 40 yrs ago.
come into the present, nlggas
the landscape has changed
no one cares bout the Gator
this is about our true rival - FSU
wise up, simpletons
The great college football programs have this thing called...TRADITION! They do not care if it was 4 minutes ago, 4 days ago, 4 years ago or 40 years ago...they are smart enough to know that tradition is what college football is all about. You 'Johnny Come Lately's' dismiss the great tradition of the CANES because you have a temporary erection about some subject that you typically have no idea what you are talking about and dismiss the CANES hard earned tradition.
If it where not for those traditions you wouldn't be paying one bit of attention to the CANES. During the early years the Florida Gators treated CANES football as a sideshow and something to laugh at. Then, when the CANES began to graduate to the upper tier of college football your friends, the Florida Gators, did everything possible to destroy the CANES program. Yet, when they failed to do so and the CANES became college football's powerhouse the cowardly Gators promptly quit the annual series and over the many year's since their cowardly act they've authored seemingly hundreds of excuses as to why they ran and hid, and many of those excuses were belittling the CANES.
So, you can spoon with your Gators and give them the handy you so desperately want to do, but I promise you that REAL CANES will NEVER root for the Florida Gators...other than rooting for them to get demolished in every sport they try. By the way...since the Gators have improved their baseball team and CANES baseball has fallen off some the bullshyt being talked by your Gainesville girlfriends about our baseball is endless, but it doesn't come close to what they said and did concerning CANES football.
The Seminoles and Bobby Bowden could have easily quit the annual CANES/Noles series and would have most probably won several more National Championships. But, unlike the Florida's and Notre Dame's of this world Bowden and company wanted to compete against the best...and for that I respect the Noles.
You could do yourself a favor and 'try' to learn about the CANES football tradition and why it is so important to the future of the program, but I suspect it will not change your mind...It's a CANES thing little man--you wouldn't understand!!
PS: For the record; Florida State, Georgia, Tennessee, LSU and others know all about the cowardly Gators and...DESPISE THEM!
