If you're a Cane's fan ,why do you care who wins the QB battle ?

Not really. I asked what u think not what u know. The whole "not enough information" argument is not true bc you've seen what these guys were rated and tape coming out of high school, seen them all take college snaps, and have read the reports coming out of spring. Anyone not a Miami fan could give and opinion of who they think will win, or want to win the job with less info than that.

We don't know which of these guys is the best cuz we're not in practice, the locker room, or team meetings with them. But Enos and Diaz are. And I expect those coaches want to win as badly as we do - or more. Their careers depend on it. So I'm cool with whoever they roll with.

First let me say, great post. But whether people admit it or not, everyone thinks that one QB will run the offense better than the rest.

I'll be honest this is probably our least Quality position on the entire team. I'm not sold on one of them. If everyone thought different we wouldn't keep on having a new thread on it every week. I just hope one steps up!

Because then there would be no dogs, or some ****

I don't really care who wins.

Order of preference would be Perry, Williams, and then Tate.

Perry and Williams because they picked us when we sucked. One has screwed up, another almoat split. Still, we were their first choice and I hope they live up to THEIR dream.

Tate ran from competition in Fields, but he cast his hat with us, so he's still gotta prove it and I hope he does.

Whoever wins it, I'm happy for them. They won it fair and square, now let's roll.

Trust in Enos!!

Best man wins the job.
I totally agree... but some of us mortals like to predict, it gives them a sense of worth I guess. Personally I don't give a shiit who starts.
Bottom line is Enos was hired to evaluate the talent from now to Aug. 24. If we don't see an effective offense we will not be happy campers.

I really wish they'd make another Twilight movie so all the Team Edward and Team Jacob fans could go back there and stop being Team Jarren and Team Tate.

@CaneOil, my sentiments exactly. We truly need 1 of them to step it up and stand out for the team, especially on offense. How this 1 position goes, so goes our season. We can have a dominant defense again and waste the opportunity before us if the QB doesn’t lead the team and show they have the requisite skills necessary to run Enos’ offense and do it well so points can be had on the field. This is the reasoning behind why I haven’t picked a favorite yet; even though we’ve seen HS highlight tape on all 3 we truly don’t have enough evidence in a major college football setting to say with confidence who’s the starting QB for the University of Miami. I have no clue yet who’s leading in my mind much less who I believe Diaz and Enos are grading as the #1 QB thus far. I’m sure they are waiting on the Spring scrimmage games to see if someone separates themselves from the pack. If that occurs, then in my mind they have the greatest potential to the starting QB gig. It is because we aren’t there yet that I can’t say with certainty who that starter is yet. So I’m taking a wait and see approach until that time, and nothing is going to change my mind about it either. Man the best young man win, lead the team, and win us a lot of football games.

Not everyone, but some. Because the majority know that they lack the information needed to make informed opinion. However, who cares what some porsters think?
