If you watched Diaz last few interviews

I think Diaz would stay at Miami, similar to how Venerables is if he were to earn a little more while also seeing this program be on its way to where Clemson is right now. The sad thing is, we're hamstrung by Richt, and Manny sees that clear as day. I'm serious at this point as I'd rather Manny be HC than Richt. At this point, I couldn't blame the man either. Richt's not doing him any favors, and Manny sees that Richt's not doing his best in trying to win. Richt's at the end of his career, Manny's still at the beginning.

Manny is smart. It would be one thing to claim he is interested in an attempt to leverage flake for a raise and some type of indication to a HC in waiting role. Maybe a bump of $200,000 and Associate HC. By physically i terviewing for Temple (and potentially getting an offer) he can hold flake’s feet to the fire. Anyone with a pulse knows this entire thing is going to cave if Diaz leaves.

I have no inside info whatsoever but I feel confident Manny will stay. Of course he can always leave for a HC job elsewhere and come back, but he has spoken many times about how important family is to him and how great it is to be “home”. It’s hard to envision him leaving for Temple unless they make an exorbitant offer.

Temple will offer in the 3 mill range. You would have to be dumb not to take it.

You are delusional if you think if diaz leaves coach richt wont find somebody else. Although he'd refer manny stay, coach richt has already proven he's good at hiring people!

I don’t know...$3 mil is a ton and a huge raise, but if UM bumps him up to $1.2-1.3 mil (which appears very doable in light of our head corch not bringing in a real OC), combined with the ability to stay home? Also FL no income tax and PA is close to 3% I think.

I don't care if Manny leaves or stays. I'm not hating on him, just not drinking the Manny Kool-aid yet. I actually would like to see how he handles a HC job before we crown his *** HC. Plus he's a Nole!!! Don't care where he grew up or who his daddy is he's a Nole!!!

Wrong

Outside of Dugans Manny and maybe Hartley or Simpson, there is not a single coach who If replaced by anyone other than a Richt relative wouldn’t be an upgrade

You really are a Richt slurper, he could **** on your head and tell you it’s raining and Your believe him

Idk where people are getting this 3m number, Temple has never paid a coach that. 2m is probably the more realistic offer.

Did coach richt not call you the next day or did he come home late. You guys with the emotional tendencies need to wear more blue and take your pink socks off. To act like coach rumph and banda just dont exist shows how simple minded you are, you were probably crying when coach kool left cause you got fed the "he's considered to be the best d-line coach" than you probably were one of the ones who named names of who coach richt should replace kool with and none of your guesses had simpson. Than you want to act like coach brown is not doing workk with the runninbacks. I got an idea, find the nearest circus, they've been waiting on an act like yours!

If he leaves he will want Willie Martinez I am sure. If he does leave how many other coaches will he take with him I wonder.

Prove he's a nolie.

Anyone know what Diaz is currently making?

He was making 575k at Miss State so I assume we offered a little more than that to get him.
