If you aren't happy with this you're CRAZY!!!

LOL - go back and watch highlights of his offenses at Arkansas (someone posted it on a thread here). It's all I-formation, two tight end sets!

Do I think he'll rely on that exclusively at UM? No. But he's never, ever, EVER coordinated an offense that relied on spread concepts.
Go watch the full games - he runs lots of 3/4 wide sets. He had two NFL TEs so he got them on the field as much as possible.

I really like that the QB was under centre for everything but the obvious passing downs too.

Not sure why you heard something about getting kids that would go against that. Majority of high schools down here are either running a spread, pro set or pistol with variations out of all them. I'm not reading back through any of this so maybe this is my fault and I didn't clarify something properly. If so my bad. But if I remember correctly it was about running a variation to the spread and not asking kids to learn while new systems that go against what some of play they were raised in. If I'm wrong about my recollection or how I emphasized my point I apologize in advance. Plenty of times (since im on my phone) it autocorrect something top where I simply sound foolish. But I don't proof read anything so I guess it's gonna happen sometimes. Very valid point from u though

it seems your legitimate concern is that we MIGHT be bringing in a playcaller that runs an offense that does not exploit the natural strengths and advantages of the players we tend to recruit (aggression, speed and space) and to these recruits' historic training. if Enos is this type of playcaller, we are back to the NoD era or we are stuck with Richt the Second!

however, the point i was trying to make is that Manny knows that, he lived through having to replace the NoD defense and to implement a scheme that is congruent to the skills and advantages of south florida kids. he implemented the right scheme with the right traits and he has said that he wants his offense to MIRROR the defense's traits.

so my point is that, Manny's having recognized and fixed the D problems three years ago and having recognized what happened on the O the last 3 years, i highly doubt that Manny has brought in someone that will not do for the offense what Manny did for the defense.
