If you aren't happy with this you're CRAZY!!!

It must hurt to be this dumb.

He improved the talent, profile, facilities, and had the decency to leave money on the table for []__[]s to make moves; In 3 seasons we wouldn't likely have won a national championship... Oh yea, he also had the wherewithal to bring Manny to Miami.

Next season we'll be a different beast based on the foundation Mark Richt set.

Well I know we're running a spread. Manny has told everyone we're doing that. But I think it's a variation of it.
Thanks don't know how I feel about him. He seems like he'll be an actual QB whisperer with low level talent but can he adampt to something totally new. If Tate Martell comes, I'm going to be pshyched! That dude is a beast, I just hope he can behave. Ideally Jarren stays and gets developed too

When has Manny said we are running a spread? He was asked that exact question today and here is what he said : https://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports...s-manny-diaz-enos-offense-20190111-story.html

“I’m going to refer back to what I said in the press conference. It’s just too oversimplistic to try to be defined by one term, spread or pro-style. The way college football has evolved, so many things have melded into one.”

Well too bad we are not hiring him as our QB coach then.

That's what hes told jarren & the team. Guess well have to see. But I know that's what hes said. Just cause something is said to the public doesn't mean its echoed privately obviously.

Tate ain't coming. Gues want coming either as of last week but maybe with this guy that'll change. I know it's being said that hurts speaks very highly of him. Personally would far rather see jarren at the helm than any of the other possible options. Atleast until we see what we got

I agree I want to see Jarren but we have to have options, I hope this and the visit changes his mind

Here's my thing and I dont mean this as an insult to anyone. I know its gonna make some people hot but you know how lil I care. One of the main reasons alfraud didnt cut it down here is because he came in with no d & tried to change our culture. He took a aggressive attacking 4-3 defense & turned us into a bland zone that required alot of moving parts buf mainly required kids to re learn what they've played like their whole lives. Where people are gonna get hot is how that relates to now. If were gonna stick to the whole 90% of our team comes from down here than you better stick to what they know already. Because if you expect the majority of kids to learn an entirely new system from the ground up than were setting these kids up for failure. Not only do we take away the instincts that make them who they are but we also ask them to mentally be all in. The south doesn't exactly breed the brains as elite football players. I know how it sounds but I cant clean it up anymore than that.

How long ago was that? Enos supposedly will have complete control of the offense. I don’t think he’s ever run a spread so I would be surprised if that’s what we see next year.

I don't know what top tell you brother. If many has been telling the truth hes been saying for like 4 days now hes been had the oc hired. Just wouldnt tell us who. He said this about the spread since the beginning. So I'd imagine that means he only interviewed people willing to run that predominantly. But as I said I think it'll be ran with variations anyhow.

How about Tua coming in second for the heisman voting, or are we just going to focus on one game.

I mean, it’s the only one that matters isn’t it? Or is our ultimate goal to perennially finish second to Clemson in the ACC?

Don’t take one post and get bent out of shape, bro. I’m not your problem in here.

I’m not mad about it. Just taking the wait and see approach. I visited multiple Bama boards and guys are saying that Saban is just going to grab a top mind. They more “mad” that all the offensive assistants are gone and think something must be going on in the program to have so much staff turnover.

I didn’t see people mad about just losing Enos. But mad that the entire O staff bolted.

Thanks man. I do appreciate the info and hope you are right.

What is your opinion? Do you think he'll run a true spread or stick to what he always ran before?

you are absolutely right. however, given that Manny was the one that saw the alfraud/NoD problem and talked about returning the Defense to its roots and did indeed do so and knowing what he said about what kind of OC he wanted (someone to mirror the D's aggression, speed, and taxing the D), I have a hard time believing manny hired someone that would run an offense that would counter the type of kids we want and get.

Not sure why you heard something about getting kids that would go against that. Majority of high schools down here are either running a spread, pro set or pistol with variations out of all them. I'm not reading back through any of this so maybe this is my fault and I didn't clarify something properly. If so my bad. But if I remember correctly it was about running a variation to the spread and not asking kids to learn while new systems that go against what some of play they were raised in. If I'm wrong about my recollection or how I emphasized my point I apologize in advance. Plenty of times (since im on my phone) it autocorrect something top where I simply sound foolish. But I don't proof read anything so I guess it's gonna happen sometimes. Very valid point from u though
