If you are worried about FAU or App State...

App State and FAU would hammer Florida A&M. Take down FAU by 4 TD's, and App State by 2-3 and I will be happy. App worries me some though, This will probably be there biggest Home game of all time.

need some kool aid, do ya?

You are a pansy. If we lose to either of those teams FLY THE BANNER.

Not only will we win we will win by 3 touch downs, minimum, for each game.

I see what you're doing and I'll be the first to say....

Fučk you. It's game two of a PROVEN coaches first season and you starting with this bull****.

What's funny is Sandusky Jr. beat them by 23 last year with the worst defensive scheme ever an they really gonna disrespect us an give us a 24 point spread??? If I was a betting man I'd put my life savings on that game 52-7,... As far as app st I think it'll b a good game I think we win but they not no pushovers an if we go in there with a mindset like they gon lay down we in trouble thank God we have coach Richt, we will win by 17

If App State plays like they did VS Tennessee then there is no way they stand a chance.

No way.

O I get you!,... But historically they've played good against the "power conference" teams, that is our first road game, an we do play a lot of freshman. I think an experienced Kaaya an adjustments made by coach will be the difference which is why we win but I just don't feel comfortable saying it'll be easy. I'd love to be wrong but I think it'll be a good game

Historically?

Come on man. They beat one of the worst Michigan teams ever like 10 years ago.

they got blasted by clemson last year. Dawged by michigan the year before. and dawged by Georgia before then.

When is the last time they beat or came close to beating a power 5 besides Tenn?

Did you watch the game?

The App State Corners and safeties played Paul Williams Ball 15-30 yards off the ball all **** game.

Mike Debord should have been fired and Dobbs should have been benched.

They never challenged app state to defend the line of scrimmage and short-intermediate passing game.

If you think Richt won't exploit App State's fear of talent then you have never seen Mark call a game.

App state stands no chance if they play like that.

NONE.

That Michigan team went 9-4, and beat Florida in the Citrus Bowl. I'm quite sure that Michigan team was far better than the Rich Rod era teams that weren't bowl eligible. They beat a Michigan team that was coming off a big season, and were expected to challenge for a title. That Michigan team wasn't some 3 win squad.

Ap. State is a team that should give Miami a game early, and then fall away as depth takes over, but there's a reason why Richt is big on going game by game. Even if you are significantly better than your opponent, you come out hungry and ready to eat, period.

App hasn't beaten a Power 5 team in 9 years...

What media?

Man a lot of media is saying we will lose. I wonder what Vegas will have as the line

Nobody wants to validate the fact that Tennessee is bad and assumes we are dealing with a power house

I'm worried about how these boys will handle GT's option.. that said, if we can get a few stops and turn those into TDs, my concern decreases substantially.

If we lose to FAU (which I know we won't) it'll be the worst loss in Miami history. We should beat them
by at least 45.

App State may not be a pushover, especially on the road. But I wasn't at all impressed with their play vs Tennessee.

Finebaum called app state beating us on espn and many reporters were "warning" us about the matchup Thursday night via Twitter

FAU is not worth even worth a comment other than the comment that I just made. It is really hard to believe that so many Canes fans are seriously concerned about App St. It's freaking App St. ESPN is hyping up App St. because of two reasons:
1. Ratings!!!! If they hype up App St. enough, people will buy into the BS and maybe tune in to see if an FCS team can take down America's most hated team, The U!!!
2. ESPN analyst hate us because most of those fools got destroyed by us during their playing and/or coaching days!

Enough with this being scared of App St. s#i+

That Michigan team was overrated and bad.

They were on the decline; and IIRC got blown out by Oregon later in the year too.

They salvaged the season. but i'm sure they won 3 games the very next year. They were not the Michigan we had grew to respect.

With all that said; I get your overall point is that we cant "sleep" on app state.

We won't and there is no way they can beat us if they play afraid and conservative like they did Tennessee.

Dobbs can barely complete an option.

App state is going to be in awe when they see Kaaya spin it all over the field.

They lost to Oregon the next week, and then proceeded to win their next eight before losing to Wisconsin and Ohio State. We're talking about a team that finished ranked in the top 20. They were a disappointment considering that they were a top 5 team the season before, but to call them bad is revisionist history at its finest.

The Mountaineers won't be awed by Kaaya, or anyone else. That program has played plenty of big name programs in recent years, and while they didn't win a lot of those games, the experience matters. They will stick to their gameplan, and although their talent is limited, they will do what they do. Satterfield is a legit coach, he's a guy that will get a chance at a larger midmajor, or a lower tier Power 5 school within the next three years. It's on the 'Canes to successfully counter that and overwhelm them with superior talent. This most likely won't be a blowout from kickoff, but Miami will pull away before halftime, and then pour it on.

Not scared of either FAU or App. State. However, App. State is no joke. They're a pretty solid team with good coaching. Plus we're going to their place(still not sure why). We should beat FAU by 28 at least. App. State we should beat at least 17 but anything can happen if we don't come prepared and take them lightly.
