Because I think you have to root for the scenario that BYU knocks out TT and then wins their championship game. An 11-1 BYU and 11-1 Texas Tech is not good for Miami. You need teams with losses to continue to lose games and undefeated teams to win.

Are you phvcking serious with this? My balls are dragging 3 feet behind me from being kicked during yet another Kool-Aid poisoned season, we just gave away ANOTHER game to a mid team, and you want to come in here sprinkling sunshine and butterfly dreams of post season? What planet do you live on? COULD we win out? Sure. I could also bump into Margot Robbie today and talk her into seggs in my office, but it's not likely.

Here's another thought - even if we got amazingly lucky and got every bounce the rest of the year and made the playoffs, no one and I mean NO ONE has any faith that we would do a gotdam thing inthe playoffs.
 
Need to win out and look really really good doing it - which is highly unlikely given Mario’s approach to game day

And we need no one else in the ACC to have less than 2 losses
 
I'm convinced yall aint watching these games. Nothing about this team or staff says win out or playoff. The only what if we should be focused on is Mario forfeiting his buyout. No amount of talent acquisition or coach firings matter.

We won’t win out because our ignoramus of a coach won’t ever adapt or change, but our only chance is:

(1) Win out; zero indication we are capable of doing this.

(2) Win impressively - need to win all our remaining games by 17 points at minimum.

(3) ND wins out and USF wins out, giving us solid ranked wins.

(4) We beat a ranked Pitt.

(5) Louisville and SMU don’t collapse, so we don’t have bad losses.

What I expect to happen: we’ll do a complete 180 these next three weeks and look great. Teams will stumble and we’ll legit have a shot at Pitt for a CFP Bid. Mario and staff **** the bed, like they do in any game with post season ramifications, and we lose a heartbreaker to Pitt
 
The common opponent is Pitt. Here's something I find interesting. Since the game is at Pitt, ESPN/ABC owns the broadcast rights. Normally they would put Notre Dame on ABC but they have #8 BYU @ #9 Texas Tech in that slot. Understandable.

However, they have #5 UGA @ Weakass Mississippi State on ESPN and James Madison @ Marshall on ESPN2. ND-Pitt is on ESPN+. It almost looks to me like they're hiding Notre Dame from the national media this weekend. Can we expect some ACC officiating shenanigans in this one?
