I generally am not a fan of moral victories, but can live with an occasional loss if playing at a high level. I can't live with Al's record against winning programs. There are definitely no moral victories for these guys at this point. That ship sailed.

Win out and get out is my new rallying cry. I hope the criticism from the former players and fans and the banners have made it so miserable and toxic for that greaseball that he is in as much of a hurry to leave UM after this season ends as he was last year when the Ped State gig was open.

I'd absolutely prefer that the fat ****** wins out and gets out. Just need to hope for some **** head like the Missouri AD with Haith to rescue us.

Now with 3 straight wins (two against quality opponents that even most on here thought we might not win a month ago), you think his job is on the line against the #2 team in the land? Really?

Listen, I want the guy gone too..but im also a realist after what Blake James fed us post the Gtech game.

If we play FSU hard (Hard like Clemson and ND played them..not like that **** show we saw last year) and lose but blow out UVA and Pitt..AND win the bowl game they might give this guy ANOTHER extension the way this administration has been going lately!

Golden isnt coaching for his job right now...he is safe...he is coaching for the jobs of his assistants.

Way off in your analysis, Doc. Let me be a little more clear for you. First of all, is that "Year 4, Win Coastal and play for ACC Ship..." mantra something you wrote way back in 2010? I am a realist. I don't fudge around with fantasies in my head about us going 12-0 and winning the national championship every year. This ain't the 80s. We don't have 5 star players all around. Half our defensive starters wouldn't crack Michigan State's starting D. Half of our offensive starters wouldn't crack Auburn's starting O. Should we have beaten Louisville? Yes but that wasn't a cake walk. GT is another story but it happened. Since then, we've rolled through a VT team that always gave us fits and smothered a UNC team that many thought would torch us. I don't want to lose to FSU... believe me. Yes I want to win the coastal and want to smack the Noles in the process. But back to this thread: if Canes go 8-4 including 5-1 in last six games with the only loss to a more than likely superior Noles team, I dont think that's reason enough to give up on Golden & Co and go through another rebuilding crap again. That just sets us back more than we like to think.

According to Alice, her defensive scheme is just too complicated and we will lose 2-3 early games every season. I say she needs to go regardless. We will never win the ACC Coastal or anything of note with her at the helm.

I was and it was INFINITELY worse than what Golden has had to go through. Inspite of that, Davis put together the best team in CFB HISTORY. Is that where we are at now? Has Golden done that?
