He better win 10 games next season, beat FSU, and win the ACC title game. It will be his 5th year. One way or another, this will probably be Golden's last year with a new president. *hopefully*
I would still say no at 8-4... even though i believe he should have been gone after the step back this year, 8-4 still is a step back from being 9-3 (regular season) in 2013. I think bare minimum 9-3 to stay

Yup. That's the criteria for any coach in Year 5 at Miami. Win 10 or more games, beat FSU, and win the ACC. Anything less than that is unacceptable, and Golden is clearly incapable of coming anywhere close to doing any of those things.
Any mouth-breather who suggests Al should be safe if he just wins the Coastal next year should slap themselves in the face.
pfffft. not happening. 4-8 without Duke , Perryman, Walford, Flowers, Dorsett, Chick, Feliciano, McDermott. Golden's agent has to be desperately trying to latch on anywhere. He may be out of football entirely after what happens next year. Golden has to lament the fact that he was so close to getting a fresh 4 years of excuses from Pedo St last year. Missing out on that job ruined his career (or at least would have staved off ruination for another 4 years)
8-4 is acceptable here?…a once dominant program is content with 8-4, incredible what this program has become and how the fan base at times is rationalizing mediocre performance.
