If Vandy jumps us this week in the CFP poll

You'll know the committee will ***** us in the end. I still think the only way we get in is to back into the ACC championship game and win. Bring out your babalao statues and candles because the only way that happens is if UVA loses to VT...... Not looking good.

I think it would be a travesty if we wouldn't get in. Miami is better than half the teams that are "in" right now. Lets see. I'm just so used to getting jobbed that I have no faith in the committee. That SMU loss killed us. If the committee watched that game they KNOW we actually won it. That was one of the worst officiated I've ever seen. You hate to use that as an excuse but it's the truth. Even with everything we'd been through in that game, that 4th down late hit call was garbage. That game was over

Pretty sure Tenn beats Vandy not worried there

I feel good jumping Utah, especially if they struggle vs Kansas and we beat Pitt same weekend

I think BYU loses to Texas Tech in conference championship and Alabama loses to Auburn or Ole Miss to Miss State or SMU to Cal or UVA to Va Tech

Lots of movement incoming

Going to be interesting where Tenn is ranked this week. Vandy might be gifted a "good, ranked win". BYU is getting set up to be dropped out of playoffs if they lose big12 championship (contrary to the committee saying nobody would be punished for playing an extra game). Not even worth going through all the possibilities until the games are played. Oh well
 
we are lucky in the fact that

1) his comments were so horrific and contradictory that even people that dont like miami are all over them

2) it's not an SEC team we're going against, and


3) what they are trying to do is actually egregious to the sport -- think about all the lost money in cancelation of OOC games going forward if we dont get in over the team we beat OOC

I dont think we get in over ND

but I do think we get in over a title game loser so they can avoid this **** show
 
I doubt It. These were the cfb rankings this week. #15 and #16 both lose, but here’s the thing Texas decisively beat vandy so they can’t be too far ahead of them

vandy has a worse loss than us and worse wins

if they jump us for beating 5-5 Kentucky more than we beat 3-7 VT then that'll come into question heavy

if we get in, it's because oklahoma or bama lose next weekend and because we get in over a byu title game loser

All true except an SMU loss doesn't help us. They own the tiebreaker against us. Instead of leaving it up to the committee I'd rather have UVA lose to VT, we sneak into the acc championship game and then no worries.... Unlikely but it's the best case scenario for us in my opinion

Missouri lost which was Vandys best win. Have to imagine Missouri falls out of top 25 which would prevent Vandy from leaping us.

We will leap Utah. ND can't climb anywhere unless someone ahead of them loses IMO
 
Vandy is ahead of us in the AP poll now. I expect the playoff poll to reflect the same. Had a feeling but I hope Tennessee beats that *** next week
