Sorry... not going to happen... and don't care either.
We have one of the best stadiums in CFB and you maroons want to go back to a tin can?
Please.... i was there at OB during the heydays.. most games it was empty...
.. . and you think any of current prima donna recruits will like a replacement tin can.
Enjoy the memories.... have no reason to go back to the FSU games and other occasional block busters. So there were games when it was, perhaps one half full.
This is the link for average Orange Bowl attendance. You will see it ranges between 40,000 and 55,000. with an occasional 60,000. Most of the latter occurred during the eearly 80's. This means, accounting for FSU and other blockbuter games, there were games when it was maybe half full

August 24 or August 31 can’t arrive fast enough. Too many cis members are posting messages during the off season that border on the absurd. Op needs to take a deep breath and think next time he feels the necessity to post a stupid and infantile message. The city of Miami tears down the Marlins stadium, after the team has been moved due to lack of interest, and they rebuild an exact replica of the OB on site.
Then, we are back.
I do like Hard Rock, though.

Punctuation my man.A lot of kids don't care about NFL stadiums or playing in NFL stadiums they like the atmosphere of College football, atmosphere college town that's why a lot of kids decided not to come to Miami they like that college atmosphere where the stadium is near the campus everything is there so you can have the best pro Stadium but lot of kids like that college football town atmosphere imo.
I never understood the logic behind building a 70k stadium that won't get filled unless a top marquee team comes to town. Not Happening.
Also why recreate the OB? I would make a stadium like Baylor's with some tweaks here and there.
The Baylor stadium is big, loud, and is a perfect capacity for this fan base (45k) based to the Orange Bowl's (75k). I'll never understand why this fan base wants a new stadium of 70k when you know **** well, other then FSU, half of the seats would be empty on game day. Not a good look.
Give me a smaller stadium that looks 80% full most of the time that can get pretty **** loud over a stadium that big and loud as **** but half empty most of the time.
Not Happening.

Well there is some truth to this statement as the marlins will be the Las Vegas Marlins sooner or later. And I say good riddance! South Florida isn’t a baseball town and it never will be. Football, football, football! The city of Miami tears down the Marlins stadium, after the team has been moved due to lack of interest, and they rebuild an exact replica of the OB on site.

It would take a significant renovation to make that stadium football friendly. It's really a baseball only facility and a nice one at that.Real talk, if Jeter does indeed decide to move the franchise elsewhere, what happens to that stadium? If the stadium was reconfigured, would it be able to hold 50k? That’s all we really need, w an option to expand another 10k for a major game.
I’ve never been to Marlins Park, I’ve only seen it from afar when that stadium host a football game.
