I don't know what will. They lose 1 game this year and will NOT be a playoff team because they don't play in a conference. If they were in the ACC and played for the title tonight against WF or Pitt, they would have at least had a chance by saying they were a conference champ and ND. However, they missed out on the one extra game against a quality opponent and they are shut out.

I hope the ACC realizes this fact and votes against the current playoff proposal.

I don't want ND in the playoffs, but I do want them as a full-time member of the ACC. With them, the ACC would at least have a chance at coming close to the $$$ the Big 10 and SEC get. Plus, Miami would have more opportunities to beat those pompous, arrogant pr!cks.

I would love to play them every year, again. Would be so good for College Football.
 
Yeah expanded playoffs makes this argument obsolete. Unless there’s a clause that no you need to be apart of a conference.
 
I'm 30 and too young for the old school battles against the domers so my hate although present, doesn't run quite as deep as older cane fans. .

I honestly would have enjoyed seeing bama miss the playoffs but now we're gonna have UGA vs bama AGAIN in the championship smh
