If they know Manny is done,

If they keep him past 12/1, then they're ****s. If they tried to reduce his buyout and he wouldn't negotiate, that's on him.

He survived Black Monday. At this point seems like all the coaches that would get fired have already been given their walking papers and the schools have moved on to a coaching search and have hired a coach. UM is still trying to find an AD two weeks after firing one and still holding on to a coach that should of been gone weeks ago

Keeping him around at this point is a little cruel in my opinion. I don’t HATE Manny like so many other Joe Rogan bros around here do. I wish him nothing but the best whether it’s here or somewhere else. Not advocating for him to stay by the way. I’d love Mario or Lane to be here next year but best of luck to Manny either way.
I don't hate Manny. But, let's be real. He is making millions of dollars and will make millions more notwithstanding whether he stays (the horror) or leaves.

This is a "big" boy business so no need to shed tears for Manny. He was given an opportunity that many never get in their coaching career. Manny knew the risks. He knew the expectations. Manny tried. He tried his best. But, he failed.

Time to move on.

Let me say this, and I want to give credit to my lady for bringing this up because I hadn't looked at it this way before....if Manny was staying, why wouldn't they come out an declare that now? No need to sit on anything if change wasn't coming. Keep what few recruits we have happy, keep him happy, etc. I think it may be a waiting game for the buyout to drop. Now, if Wednesday comes and no news, then I get confused and by all means everyone should freak out. For now, I'm chilling. But the AD thing needs to come to a conclusion for real tho.

Pretty sure no one knows what the **** is going on at this point.**** i think the temple job just opened back up maybe they would take another stab at him if he were released

I couldn't care less about manny.. and even less about his feelings. If nobody in the UM Athletic department wants to do it, I'd be glad to drive down just to tell him to go away. I'm not sure why anyone has feelings for a dude who's getting paid millions but isn't good enough to keep his job. Dude is gonna get paid even more millions when he gets fired.

This is what the Bear said today (the guy on ESPN Gameday, not the one who attacked DBC).

This is getting stupid. No way in **** were the initial talks to fire Blake James started right before his firing. They had to have talked about scenarios for weeks. They didn't just wake up and decide to fire him one day, so what were the plans on hiring an AD in the weeks before he was actually fired. This is BS for everybody...if Manny is gonna be fired, he's walking around recruiting with the logo on his chest and selling dreams to kids he's not going to coach. That's a bad look for everyone. Hire an AD and fire this ******* guy already.
Yea basically. It’s a terrible look and like I said before they’re ******* with these positions coaches futures.

For all we know Manny knows he’s out and is working behind the scenes on his next gig while closing this one out. Who knows what he has / hasn’t been told. Lots of moving parts here.
