If there is ONE ACC-SEC game on everyone's schedule this year...

Because I live in Knoxville, I’d probably say Tennessee. Because I always go to ATL for the GT game and then it’d be nice to drive down the street to Neyland and see them stomp the Vols

Good point, we might get Vandy so they c have just one loss.

Ha!

The SEC mafia will probably figure out a way to convince South Carolina to drop Clemson for a year so that Clemson has to play Vandy...

UM and UT or Ole Miss moves the needle a lot more than UM and Missouri. I could see a team like Boston College being paired with Missouri.

Based on how this is usually done in hoops challenges, I don't think you'll see too many "clash of the titans" games where they try to match two marquee programs.

I think that 6 of the 14 games are already locked in (4 rivalry games, 2 pre-existing 2020 matchups). That means the SEC and ACC only need to squabble about 8 games, which cuts down on the available teams.

I'm not knocking Tennessee, that would be a game I'd love to see, but I think Mizzou and Ole Miss are very similar in their SEC also-ran status, and Mizzou and/or Miami might do some mild lobbying to get the previously-cancelled game back for 2020.

Pure guesswork, though.

PS, if Miami could benefit in future recruiting by getting some press coverage in SEC-land, I would think that St. Louis/East St. Louis would be a better recruiting area than just about anyplace in Mississippi. Except for MS JuCos.

True. I only said Ole Miss because I think they are more of a name-brand program than Missouri.

When were we supposed to play them?

honestly I would rather play a team like Vanderbilt,
lets just get the win, blow out an sec team and build momentum for the year

Missouri announced in 2011 that it would be joining the SEC in 2012, so it would have been one of the years right after that. I tried to search for it but all the info I could find was for UM's hurricane-cancellation games.
