If there is ONE ACC-SEC game on everyone's schedule this year...

Holy fuq I'd love to drive the 1.5 hours to Knoxville and run my mouth incessantly as we beat their asses. I'd need them to win a couple before hand so they'd be fully "back" as I want to snatch souls in Neyland.

I'd take an away game @ UT. I can be at Neyland in an hour and a half! IF fans are allowed!
Bro I would take that in a heartbeat. I can only get to one away game per year and try to make it to the @GT game since I’m from Atlanta. Livin in east TN, i can be at Neyland in 45min at most.

I hear that! I went to the game in ‘02 at Neyland. If this happens and we kick their ***, we can rag them for years to come. Lol

This, I would want Bama right now. We have King this year...we have Roche this year....GR15...

I want Bama this season, and early..I want to see what we have right out of the gate!
I can tell you what we don't have: an offensive line.

Well, we have a proven QB, our backfield is nice, top TE, our DL is questionably top 5 in Nation...several things that could change going into next season.

If I had to choose, I would want Bama now.
I would rather kick the crap out of a team like Tennessee, Ole Miss, or South Carolina.

OK, so it's a guarantee that F$U would play UiF.
GaTech would play UGa.
Clemson would play SC.
Louisville would play UK.

10 other games to schedule.

Wake-Vandy seems likely.

Miami has played Tennessee, LSU, aTm, and Arkansas (SWC) in the regular season in my memory.

Alabama or Auburn?

Or a reschedule of the Mizzou game?

Auburn has NC already on schedule
NC State has Miss St already

Miami vs Mississippi State

Manny vs his old team.
I don't want to see this but there is more history there than a crappy coach. When Howard was here the SEC refs were ND and OSU level cheaters. horrible calls. If I am not mistaken, Howard refused additional game against them. Other than the slime in swampland we have no real rival thing this sec teams. We are one and one against Bama in NC games so a tiebreaker in a third NC game would be great. But a regular season game I'd rather ND than any SEC. But if we have to go SEC lets do LSU -- maybe they can Clemson Manny.

UF has FSU
UGA has UVA
UK has Louisville
Missouri is free
USC has Clemson
UT is free
Vandy is free
Alabama is free

Ark has ND
Auburn has UNC
LSU is free
Miss St has NC St
Ole Miss is free
TAMU is free

We play Bama and TAMU in the near future and played LSU a couple of years ago, so they're likely out. We're a wildcard because nobody knows how good we'll be so there's no way we play one of their team who might be a contender anyway. We'll get Missouri or Ole Miss unless they think UT has a chance to beat us.

Mizzou just makes too much sense. Not only did Mizzou drop a game with us when they joined the SEC, I think the SEC would like to toss them a marquee game.

I agree. the only thing that might come in to play is if the SEC thinks UT has a chance to beat us. Their odds are higher than Mizzou's to get to the SEC championship game.

Here's the ACC for comparison. We're 2nd favorites.

OK, so just help me out here. These SEC games won't count in the conference standings, right? I hear what you are saying about "conference pride" and maybe the SEC would like to go 14-0 against the ACC. But you would also think that they might want to "take the hit" on a Miami win (Miami is one of the more talented ACC teams) against, say Mizzou.

Just spitballing, nothing too serious. I just think it would be hard for either conference to "stack the deck" with too many winnable games.

My two cents, no big deal.

Good point, we might get Vandy so they c have just one loss.

UM and UT or Ole Miss moves the needle a lot more than UM and Missouri. I could see a team like Boston College being paired with Missouri.
