If we bring in a DC who lets our players attack instead of react I have no doubt in my mind there would be an instant improvement.

I think that's what Golden and the guys are selling is that you come here we will attack. Im thinking that Jethro and Barrow are speaking well for themselves and they are really convincing kids that their philosophy is different because no way are they preaching this defense to the recruits thinking it will work
 
I dont think we lose anyone if its just Dorito. If we can Jethro, I think Wyche may be gonzo. Pretty sure he's had a tight relationship with Franklin. I also feel we probably should try to keep Barrow if we can, but I would move him to ST full time. Bring in a DC/LB coach. I dont really feel Barrow has done much as the LB coach here. People hyping some of the guys' he has coached, but guys like Spence were starting from the moment they set foot on campus. Other guys were athletic and had the tools, but never really reached close to their potential while here.

I love MB and think he's critical to our SoFla recruiting, but I really dont think our LB play has been particularly impressive since he's been our LB coach.

If your argument is that the scheme sucks, then wouldn't it not matter what he did with the linebackers? How would you be able to tell if they were developing to their full potential?
 
This board is going the way of Grassy! Kid you are full of ****! Why don't you go back to the gaytor board. You can't make Ray Lewis's out of scrubs, the recruiting is getting better every year. That's when things will change at every position. Golden was left with nothing, even his first year he got a very late start.
