We (America) did this to ourselves. If everyone wore masks from the beginning, and wore them consistently every time they went out, etc. we’d have a college football season. Not only did we not wear masks, we went about our lives as if everything was completely normal- going to bars in large groups, parties, beaches, etc. Americans only think about themselves.

RIP Major CFB 2020 season.

Because frankly, I don't envision the season happening. Even with a conference game schedule and games in empty stadiums. The bottom line: It didn't have to be this way, but YOUR POTUS fumbled the ball the first time he had this disease thing in his arm. huh? And the vast majority of RED STATE governor's followed his mantra from the get go. Enter the Sunshine state Gov OPENING too soon and what not. duh.

So I suggest the HARD CORE football Cane dudes get down on your knees tonight and petition YOUR god(s) for a MIRACLE of the 21st Century. Yikes. Because that's what it's going to take for your Miami to play football this season. And science be damned! Because that's what YOUR POTUS has repeated. Time after time after time after time after time.

Again, it didn't have to be this way. But the PORKY dude in the Oval office failed miserably as a leader and all that.
 
The NFL is going to play and have a Draft. No issues there.

The issue with NCAAF is that each conference is run like its own fiefdom and coordination by schools, each subject to their own university rules, makes it infinitely more complicated than the NFL. Plus, many schools are state run organizations being pulled in multiple directions, many by university presidents more concerned about lawsuits than the loss of football revenues.

That said, I remain steadfast we will see a season, it just may not be complete or start on time.

Yes. And a lot of Trump's Red States " opening too soon. " Enter the Sunshine state. By the way, Miami is now the nefarious capital city of the entire world regarding rising cases and all that. Ouch. And according to a couple of APOLITICAL medical experts ( They avoid bringing politics into the dire straits medical situation. ) the disease will be spreading to Broward and Palm Beach counties at an exponential rate. Yikes!!!

Ya know, I've been more excited about this season than any in recent memory. **** shame.

The vaccine is the one thing that’s making me feel quite optimistic. Sounds like they are moving in the right direction with that.
