The stories of people up high not wanting us to be good have to be true. This is perfect example of it…the old guard has been making the decisions and we have been terrible. why are they trying to stop the wheels of progress? The definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results. Are they clinically insane? Why are they even on the BOT if they don’t care about the university?

What the fans want & what the BOT wants are usually the polar opposite & rarely are Billionaires inclined to listen to people like us...

There is some line of convergence between some of our fans & the new guard within the BOT going after all Miami guys, so that will probably be the thing that both the fans & the Columbus Mafia will celebrate on as a gridlock breaker.

The best & most prudent decision is usually never the one that everyone wants.

If we don’t get Jurich it will mainly be because he refuses to acquiesce to political preconditions before taking the job. If you’re an AD makes no sense to take a job where your Football & Baseball coaches are pretty much already predetermined for you, even for good pay not having autonomy makes the job more difficult to manage because if things go wrong you just end up the scapegoat when none of it was even you’re idea in the first place.

If we get Jurich it’s because he assured them he’ll follow protocol as they see fit, which can be both a good & bad thing, depending on how you look at it.

I caught some bullshyt for suggesting that the older BOt’s were holding out for someone other than Jurich. I didn’t say who, but yes it is Hernandez. Is this even a true representation of what’s going on or just some fictional narrative based on the fact some people were expecting an announcement already based on a radio show tweet? We want good process until it takes several days. It’s most important that they get it right.
