The door opens up again. This is the scenario that is getting talked about the least.
No matter how the committee spins the Notre Dame BS, it doesn't really change that they would have to make a critical decision for the 9 and 10 seed. Right now that's ND and Bama, but if both Bama and BYU lose, how do they keep Bama in with 3 losses when you know they won't put BYU in over Notre Dame.
The door could open for Miami and Notre Dame to be the 9 and 10 seed if Bama and BYU lose (convincingly would help even more)
