If Rousseau doesn't start from here on out, Manny won't make it

As I said a month ago, every time Rousseau isn't on the field, we are missing out on game changing or at least game influencing plays. Before everyone jumps all over me, I know he started this game, as he should've. But, with Manny coming out and saying that Jarren is still the guy at QB, his judgment comes into question.

Rousseau is CLEARLY the most elite player we have on D and it's not even close! Deserves repeating again - every snap he's not on the field is a lost opportunity for us.

Manny, please don't revert. Barring injury, Greg should start every game until he leaves our program.

You preached accountability. For your own self-preservation, live by it.

Hes not going to make it anyway the team looked awful. We just played Malik Perkins UVA offense was worst then the Jets. Both teams r garbage.

Pretty dramatic take for something that really isn’t a thing.

No reason to think he won’t be starting again next week.
I wish everything you said was true. Unfortunately, this is in question based on several decisions that have plagued the team. I like your version of reality better and hope that's what happens.

I really challenge u guys to watch Garvin play and not just the stats. Garvin is our best pass rusher right now and that's not really close. Rousseau gets the shine because of the stats but Garvin has been the more consistent pass rusher all year. Even Rousseau's sack in this game was a product of Garvin getting to the QB. If our DBs can hold up in coverage for a split second longer Garvin would have had around 3-4 strip sacks the last couple weeks. Not saying Rousseau isn't a problem just think it's plain wrong to say he's 'CLEARLY the most elite player on D'

I understand your reasoning, but I respectfully disagree. Garvin is getting all kinds of burn and is mostly adding a consistent effort, but Greg is actually altering the game. UVA even caught on in the 2nd half and started doubling him. Look, Greg can be amazing and it doesn't mean we can't appreciate 97's efforts. But, I think it's pretty clear that when Greg is on the field, he changes the game. I'm not seeing game changing going on with Garvin.
