Realistically how many Miami players would be the portal right now. I know we would not get a single player from the portal like big dong Diaz but how many would we lose? College football is not ready for what the U is putting together and man I can’t wait to see this in action. It’s great to be a Miami Hurricanes again!!!! Go Canes

We'd probably land Ralik Mosier from Bethlehem U.

/hmmm.. this kid looks strangely familiar

Lettuce just be thankful it all worked out the way it did. Him stepping down helped redeem himself IMO. Over it.

He coached like LETTUCE!!! LMFAO!! Laughing at my own joke, you KNOW I'm happy...:)

But to answer OP question... we wouldn't have enough players to start the season.

Tate wouldn't have given us the time of day if Richt was here.
Don’t be so sure. His three options were schools with new head coaches. Louisville sucked worse than us and West Virginia got exposed without Grier. His three options weren’t that impressive but we had brevin

I have a great deal of respect for MR, he helped my family out once in a time of need. Did it without even hesitating. I know many on this board like to crucify him because they have been so successful in their own lives, but MR is a good man, a good father, a good husband, a good lover, a good neighbor, from everything I know about the man.

Really. He left a lot of money on the table as well, that Diaz and the program are now benefiting from. Whether you liked him as a coach or not, I can't recall too many head coaches doing that in the modern era. He's a Cane who came back to help rebuild the program.
Or... He’s a dude that took a large paycheck while allowing his organization to fall apart around him.
