Then I think he is sadly and very mistaken

Just reading his comments the last few days with how defensive he's gotten, I do not think he expected the backlash this soon. Especially with the IPF etc, he really thought he could just coast here without expectations or the fans/media caring

He's in for a rude awakening, this isn't Georgia. He won't have a decade to just do his own thing. This thing has a chance to get very ugly for him, a lot quicker then it did for Golden, all because he is too stubborn and is trying to play everyone outside the team as fools

Facts. He and Brown are super defensive, means the fans are doing the right thing.

I think the base is willing to support anyone, as long as they're willing to make changes and adapt after adversity. When they're too dumb and arrogant to realize it, or change if they do then its going to be an embarrassing end to your time here. It's sad, you know Richt wouldn't want to go out like that after his long career. It's ****ed up we as fans have to make so much noise because we know our admin doesn't give a ****. A lot of programs admin is one step ahead of the fans when it comes to this **** even.

He’s really acting like we’re just a fledgling football program with no championship legacy. As if we’re all just fine because we have an IPF. His *** needs to start coaching.

Agree. He brought this whole situation on himself. You would think this man would be highly motivated after getting canned from UGA to improve himself not repeat the same mistakes. But that's the difference between championship minded coaches and average coaches.

Richt signed up for this. He agreed to coach this team for a price. He is getting paid, and the fans, boosters, etc. want answers (none of that lip service execution stuff). We want progress, dominance. There really is no excuse not to.

In the big scheme of things, we all (should) know how it goes: In life we are dealt a set of cards (for better or worse); we have to play them to the best of our ability. Richt was dealt his cards, and must play them wisely, very wisely.

At the end of the day, Richt gets paid millions to deal with these issues.

Thus far, from my vantage point (which merely echoes the sentiments expressed by many on here), things aren't looking very good. In fact, they are looking very bad. I'm of the mindset that you'll know what you've got in two years. The best coaches get it done in that time frame. Richt had the talent, still does, he simply can't enable his team to maximize its athletic potential, especially when it counts. It's allllll an indictment on him.

Again, he gets paid millions for this. He's a big boy and knows what he signed up for. He can't blame fans for being disinterested in the product. We should be significantly better than this.

The 1 issue we overlooked is we should've never hired someone that this is his last stop before retiring.

The snowball is starting to roll down hill. The Sun Sentinel has written articles questioning him and hopefully more of the media will wake up. Once planes fly, it's on.

I'm with this, i think people are freaking out a little early. Richt was never the guy to fire people midseason. If he doesn't make changes in the offseason than i'll be 1st guy filling up the can of gas.

I still think he needs another year or two to show me what he can do. I am as anxious as anyone for results, but **** takes a little time. There may be only 2-3 programs a year that turn it around quickly. I believe in giving any coach 4 years, 5 max, If **** isn't where you want it after that, it will not get there. I would just like him to try some new stuff. Get up with the times offensively, but that will probably take a new OC, which I do not see happening unless this season goes down in flames and he may not have a choice. Maybe we are playing too many guys, young guys, that bodes well for the future and execution is an issue. At this point who know whats is going on. I see a team down, a defensive staff and that tells me there are deeper team problems than we are be told about. If **** doesn't turn around we could lose all our remaining games, home or not.
Here is to hoping we keep improving and put a product on the field the fans want to see. If CMR can't do that, he is done. I will be watching Sat. cuz I love my Canes, for better or worse.
Gone CANES!!! :neonu::neonu::neonu::stormwarningflag-sm::stormwarningflag-sm::stormwarningflag-sm::11263272045-489f4f7972-o:

I gave Folden until after 2014, then he did nothing to try and better the staff and I was done with him. I stayed on the band wagon too long. Richt has proven eerily similar to Folden. His quotes the past few weeks are the same thing we heard years back. Richt has to go we will be lucky to win the ACC with him let alone make any noise in the playoffs.

In 2015, I said I would give him until the end of 2018 to form an opinion. But, the Virgina loss has change that.

Having said that, it looks like Richt did not learn his Georgia lesson. He'll always be that guy who will win you 9/10 wins, but not a championship nor the conference. Great person but meh head coach.

The thing I have the biggest problem with is the lying to the fans face. Its like he thinks we are stupid. I get tired of the coach speak. I heard enough of that Bullshxt with Golden an now I have to hear Richt spew the same crap.
