Right now, it's the rings man. But I'm an old salty fan who has been attending practices and games since the 60s.What's worse, the td rings or ucf's self declared NC?
Thats true, but that doesnt mean hes not on the hot seat.If it can be stopped... it’s not inevitable
If PITT puts it IN us...
FIFY
Only cause our AD is lighting up that DHis seat is starting to smoke right now!
Hope. It's year one. You don't fire a guy after one year. Period.
No new coach only deserves one year to fix a 15-year mess—and you sure as s**t don't send a good message to any future coaches who think they'll uproot their lives to come to Coral Gables, only to get one year to turn things around.
Stop with this stupid fan-type thinking. That's not how coaching works; y'all shouting into the message board either with these fantasies of coaches being fired on a daily basis.
Thats a stupid ******* question. I'll go out on a limb and say every Cane fan wanted him to succeed. Most just expected what we got.
Of course I wanted him to succeed. Nothing personal against Manny, I was hoping he was the guy even though I had my concerns when we hired a guy with no head coaching experience again. He seemed to make some bold moves in the offseason that were a positive sign, like making use of the transfer portal, replacing the offensive staff, getting the fan base excited.
I Started to have my doubts after the CMU game, bigger doubts after the VT, and completely convinced he’ll never make it here after the GT game. VT and GT are god awful, and when you lose at home to programs that bad with this roster, we have MAJOR problems. We look unprepared and uninspired in pretty much every phase of the game. His roster management is puzzling to say the least. And his recruiting is not very good. I’ve been a Miami fan long enough to realize when a coach is not going to cut it. I don’t want to wait another 3 or 4 years before he’s let go.
After 4th and 17 at UNC followed by the complete debacle that was the CMU game. I knew right then and there! I hated the hire from day one because his defense was all smoke and mirrors, people only thought it was good because we just came off the worst defense we’ve ever had in NoDs. If you really look back And watch the film the defense was Average to above average at best! And one of the signs that it wasn’t dominant was how bad our 3rd down defense was under Diaz for the better part of 3 years, major red flag. I also hated the hire because he can’t recruit, like not at all! During richts tenure he and the offense recruited at an elite level while the defense under Shanny recruited at an average to Mediocre level. That just isn’t going to cut it here and now his sub par recruiting is affecting the offense to as he’s now the head coach. Smh dude doesn’t have it and you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to see it/figure it out. It’s just a matter of time now and hopefully it’s not to long because the longer he stays the worse this roster will get from a talent level.
I can agree with that but neither richt or Enos can do that and the reason why is we keep running an offense from the 90s. It’s time to go full spread! If bama can go full spread with mr stubborn *** himself Saban I charge then we sure has **** can! It doesn’t have to be air raid, I’d prefer it be power spread like OSU and UF run because then we can still use our super talented running backs. Diaz has a chance to do this and actually even promised us he would and failed completely with the hire of Enos. His D is good as long as the O can score enough and at least take some time off the clock.
We've been right with the past couple of coaches. Why can't we be right, now? I see it, we all see it. It's a poorly runned team. Recruits aren't coming either and we accepting commitments from like the #200th something player in their positions. F out of here.Hope. It's year one. You don't fire a guy after one year. Period.

At what point is a coach fireable?Hope. It's year one. You don't fire a guy after one year. Period.

Virginia's is pretty good. I do agree, though. Pitt might maul us like the Panthers they are.We haven't played against a quality defensive front since UF. They better bring body bags to Pittsburgh.
You sound like the *** owner of the aquarium shop in deuce bigalow.& i mean like really lays it on us, violates us, Diaz has to be on the hot seat right?

I gave him the benefit of the doubt in the first game. Then after UNC, well, he hasn't done anything to make up for that.Who here wanted him to succeed? When did you first see the light that he can't get the job done?
Some were mad cause "their guy" did not get the job. Facts. Just like with the President or with the starting QB. If their guy did not win, they want to see the worst to justify how they believe.
