Who here wanted him to succeed? When did you first see the light that he can't get the job done?

Hope. It's year one. You don't fire a guy after one year. Period.

No new coach only deserves one year to fix a 15-year mess—and you sure as s**t don't send a good message to any future coaches who think they'll uproot their lives to come to Coral Gables, only to get one year to turn things around.

Stop with this stupid fan-type thinking. That's not how coaching works; y'all shouting into the message board either with these fantasies of coaches being fired on a daily basis.

Wishful and bad thinking, the areas we suck are not his fault, there I said it and I mean it. He recognizes that the players do not have the talent expected of Hurricanes and needs time to get his players. Changing coaches is insane this early, check the history of other successful coaches and they needed 2 to 4 seasons to get the right personnel. The one thing I have not seen and wish to see is some butt chewing on the sidelines and some of that Cuban fire.

He is already on a hot seat and I think each losing game the seat gets hotter. The major hurdle is he is still in his first year. When was the last time a HC was fired in the middle of his first year (or at the end of it)? Anybody knows?

If we come out and completely dominate and look like an actual team why not? We haven't looked like a real at all this season. Just glimpses.

After 4th and 17 at UNC followed by the complete debacle that was the CMU game. I knew right then and there! I hated the hire from day one because his defense was all smoke and mirrors, people only thought it was good because we just came off the worst defense we’ve ever had in NoDs. If you really look back And watch the film the defense was Average to above average at best! And one of the signs that it wasn’t dominant was how bad our 3rd down defense was under Diaz for the better part of 3 years, major red flag. I also hated the hire because he can’t recruit, like not at all! During richts tenure he and the offense recruited at an elite level while the defense under Shanny recruited at an average to Mediocre level. That just isn’t going to cut it here and now his sub par recruiting is affecting the offense to as he’s now the head coach. Smh dude doesn’t have it and you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to see it/figure it out. It’s just a matter of time now and hopefully it’s not to long because the longer he stays the worse this roster will get from a talent level.

News flash Sport! It’s not year one! It’s year ******* 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know you’re paid to come on here by the Hecht and support the titanic but get real dude. These are his ******* guys on this team!!!!!!!!!!! And this is the most talented team his cr@p recruiting *** will ever have here and we’re 3-4! Do you think he’ll get better with less talent?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jesus Christ man, wake the Fvck up please!
