If no Zion, who plays Left Tackle?

I can’t remember what is the injury he has that takes his college career to heal ?

Whatever it is why is he ranked so high wouldn’t this injury that really never heals hamper his lofty ranking?

I’ve always been on his side from the beginning, I’m not jumping ship but being a realest I don’t see him playing full time every down each week.

I rather rivers play inside as well but we have to stop hanging on to one spring game man lol i know thats all we have seen but im sure there is a reason he’s there. Let him get more reps and see how he looks when the games start, it’s not a easy shift u make in a month or two of spring lol

Rivers or whoever should be able to hold their own for 3 out of the first 4 weeks.

If Zion can’t return by mid October and UNC then he is likely never playing football again.

Put a TE or RB on that side to chip against A&M. The rest of the teams are low level so someone has to be able to play LT and be gone against them or we are in serious 💩.

I hear Cristobol used to play that position. Put him in!

Cooper is already in line to be the starting RG. The 1st team OL for the Spring game before the pre game injuries in warmups was.

LT Rivers
LG Cohen
C. Lee
RG Cooper
RT Mauigoa
That's your starting OL. But the pre game injury in warmup chit is something else no matter what it really was

Rivers at left tackle, TVD at quarterback, Texas A&M come into town....

Farewell and adieu to you fair Spanish ladies

How you figure?

The only thing said is the same thing said about Citizen. He had a rehabilitation setback.

Like come on man. Botched surgery? Smh

What causes setbacks? Scar tissue, excess scar tissue can be because of a a bad surgery. Most ppl come back in 6-9 months post acl. Dude has been out pretty much two years. If you think his surgery went well then I don’t know what to tell you.

Quint you sob I thought you got eaten by a massive great white shark off the coast of maine

At this point, I am hoping he is cleared to practice by mid to late camp and can begin to get his body ready for games. Even if that does happen, I do not expect Zion to start at the beginning of the season, just be a depth piece at best that the coaches bring along slowly.

As the season progresses and injuries inevitably happen, having a relatively healthy Zion (who can play both tackle and, in a pinch, guard) later in the season would still be HUGE. Pray.

Also take in Zion procedure was just to "clean something up" and he was only to be out a few weeks and in time for season. How does his recovery go from that to this?

Are you a surgeon?

I blew out my ACL MCL PCL and Menicus. Your assumption of 6 to 9 months is a flat out lie.

What’s the recovery then doc? Your personal experience doesn’t mean it’s the norm. Players are cleared in 6-9 months this day and age. Didn’t say they are fully 100 or playing but they are cleared. Dude had a “setback” we don’t even know the scope of his injury. Someone asked my opinion. Based on things I’ve read and seen something went wrong with his surgery/recovery.

If you have more concrete FACTS on the situation feel free to share for the board

"Dude had a “setback” we don’t even know the scope of his injury."

Thanks for being honest.

No you said "Botched surgery". Stop moving the goalpost.

I'm pointing out your lack of objective facts and now you are asking me to provide them. Rationalization is a beautiful thing, but hey lets throw out "botched surgery".

What causes setbacks?

Other unrelated health issues that negatively impact physical therapy and recovery.
An incident during therapy/recovery.
An accident completely unrelated to therapy/recovery that just so happens to occur during the recovery time frame.
Another problem/issue discovered after the initial surgery.
A problem/issue involving the initial surgery.

Going straight to an assumption of negligence on the part of the surgeon based solely on the news of a "setback" is a major knee-jerk reaction.
