If N'Kosi Perry was the Starter going into the Season Miami would be 5-0 or 4-1 at Worse.

Had nothing to do with any of that, more so of jarrens issues personally on certain plains than defenses doing anything to hinder him actually.

1st int, bad ball placement on Jarren part and the db ABSOLUTELY arrived early which was pass interference imo

2nd int, terribly underthrown ball. As we have seen today Perry underthrew a few passes too deep. It’s an issue that they need to sort out. Regardless dee Wiggins should have fought harder to at least make than an incompletion.

3rd int, he was hit in his lower body which ultimately affected that throw but still, don’t know who exactly he was throwing to there. So bad throw, live to fight another play.
VT played bump and run cover 0 and absolutely shut Jarren Down. CMU actually did the same thing. Teams got him figured out. He rarely throws deep and is woefully inaccurate when he does so teams just stack the box and blitz up the middle. I could draw up a defense to beat Jarren without much effort.

NKosi has the same oline issues and was still making throws downfield while getting hit.

NKosi was buying time running out the pocket still looking to make plays downfield while Jarren was escaping the pocket to run out of bounds for no reason.

Also multiple receivers all of a sudden became active in the offense... Jeff Thomas all of a sudden was an impact player again.

It’s clear the offense was dead bc of Jarren Williams. Even in the shot gun he was terrible. NKosi Perry is the answer this season and beyond. Jarren can hit the transfer portal.

IF he started the season the lack of an O-line probably would beaten him so badly he'd never play again! First things first - to win games you start by winning in the trenches. We have too many inexperienced personnel on both sides of the ball.

Agree. The moment Perry got in the game and hit a couple of deeper side line routes, VTs safeties backed up. Mind you, they were up 28 too. Agree with your point though

It's fools gold, Vtech went prevent and we were throwing against a 3 man line in the 4th qtr thats when we scored 3 tds and had the majority of our yards. Nkosi had the luxury of throwing in the shotgun entirely in that 4th qtr with minimal pressure. JArren played horribly and I do believe his shoulder isnt 100% and thats No excuse for his ****** performance. This is the same Nkosi as last year he is a one read guy. Vtech was rushing three and made him look better. We threw for 400 yards because we threw 50 times mostly against a prevent defense.

That horrible int that was called back for roughing the passer is exactly why I worry about him. He makes dumb decisions but cant lie Ill give credit where its due...he is more comfortable under pressure and knows when to run. Still got sacked 6 times and at times held on too the ball too long also.

I do not expect Nkosi to maintain his accuracy under normal circumstances. However if Jarren is not 100% I have no problem with starting Nkosi again. If Jarren is 100% you start him again but with a quick leash. Didnt agree on Nkosi not getting to start again last year after that horrible 1st qtr and I dont agree with not giving it back to Jarren after his horrible 1st qtr. Doesnt matter tho overall we are a horrible team we will finish 6-6 or 7-5

Yea we can play this game with just about any interception in the history of football. The kid is a timid passer down the field. He’s slow to read coverage which causes him to throw late and he doesn’t have the zip to make up for it.

They both average.

Seriously, Perry would've somehow managed to not get sacked 10 times by the Gators—with an interception-free game? Not buying it.

Saw the kid last year. He was average. Looks maybe slightly better now but still stares down receivers and isn't going through his progressions.

Neither of these guys seems to have "it" at this point; Perry more disappointing as he got his cracks last year and Williams is still green.

Kosi isn't as mobile as Williams is. The OL might have got him killed in that first game.
