If Miami and Clemson played this weekend, what would the line be?

Just a hypothetical obviously...curious what people think of the state of both programs right now. This is not a questions for dudes who are angry at everything in life so their only outlet to satisfy that anger is to troll every post on here. There is therapy for that but for you, it may take years...plan accordingly. Ill start

At Miami-Canes -4.5
At Clemson-Canes -1

What do you think?

I would think in the -1.5 to -4.5 range

Clemson is starting to look like they're clicking but App State followed up their game getting thumped by South Alabama in a similar fashion and NCST just looks horrible.

I'm not sure how much stock to put in them just yet. Not sure Vegas would buy it either. Not that Miami has played world beaters but we handled USF better than Alabama, even at USF, and Florida has looked better than NCST for whatever that is worth.

NC State might even be a sub .500 team this season.

They were losing to Western Caorlina and tied to Lousiana tech going into the 4th quarter of each of those games.

I'll have my eye on Stanford @ Clemson for sure this weekend

Stanford has to play at Syracuse and at Clemson back to back weekends?! **** that’s tough.

From our model at work (a popular Sportsbook in the US):

Neutral site: Miami -3.242 (etc), so just over a field goal.

Clemson home: Clemson -0.743 (they have a good home field advantage bump compared to average, it’s a misconception to just give every home team the same points for being home).

Miami home: Miami -6.34.

I do think they look like the clear cut second favorite in the ACC right now, we’ll have to see how Louisville fares against ND this weekend to get a true read on them. Defensively, wasn’t impressed against GT but they have some speedsters at WR and should be getting Lacy back.

We always think of Clemson having a great D. They are not ranked in the top 100. Anyone have insights there? Is that who they are or do they perhaps have poor depth not getting it done in blowout games.

Was expecting Lacy to be like Tez Walker from UNC last year. Get cleared right before the Miami game.

Hope they get him back this week so they can at least have some film on how they're going to use him before we have to play them

Clemson got out to big leads really early vs App State and NC State. Great chance a lot of those yards and points were vs backups but not really sure whats up there.

Need a Louisville win against notre dame then we beat them so we can have a good win. Just in case we lose in the ACC ship
