If Markell Bell was able to come back for this year do you think he would be a top 5 overall pick in next year’s draft?

I think he may have been the steal of the draft.

Not to mention what he would have added to our team this year.

Perhaps, but he's gone and as much of a luxury as it would have been to have him back, he is a Philadelphia Eagle now. Despite the youth we do have on the line, I wouldn't want to switch places with any other team. The young true freshmen(Cantwell, Congdon and Ervin) who are in position to contribute this year are a one of a kind group. With growth and experience those three will literally terrorize opposing defenses.

Someone said that in 2028 we would have the most dominant OL in UM history and while that may be so, I don't think we're going to have to wait that long. I think this OL will be very scary by 2027 and we should be very good by the latter part of this season. Imagine the 3 monsters above with dudes like Buchanan, Wilkerson, Campbell plus Woodrow and Pickett filling out the OL. I literally cannot wait for this season to start.
 
I'll also add that come playoff time and barring injury, this OL could be an excellent blend of youth and experience with veterans like Samson Okunlola, Ryan Rodriguez and Matt McCoy to go with Jackson Cantwell, Ben Congdon and Joel Ervin with Jaden Wilkerson, SJ Alofatuli, Jamal Merriwether and Demetrius Campbell. We could potentially have 10 playable OL.

Its not worth worrying about now, but with what Seaton is getting, it would of made sense for him to fight for that 5th year and his draft status would have improved also.. I know he was eager to bounce but I think it would of been in everyone best interest and ncaa gave 5 years anyways..

Now I guess with eagles he is redshirting anyways so he will learn behind Johnson and Mailata
 
That line of Bell, McCoy/Samson, Brock, Cooper, and Mauigoa is what I’ve been hoping for the last 20 plus years.
 
A lot of this forum slept on him as a top LT in CFB, nevermind as a pro.

He blocks out the sun. There are only so many humans on earth that big, that athletic enough to play football, nevermind having the dawg in him like he does. He wasn't a finished product and wasn't Mt. McKinnie, but he's a real deal pro offensive lineman that went to a team that is tailor made for a tackle of his archetype.

And people are questioning SJ's height. 61 is UNC alum Lumpkin. Eagles list him at 6'1 and he is 5'10.
