The fact that you think Baker was the problem is a problem. Next it will be Lashlee. Then T-Rob. etc
Maybe, just maybe, Miami is the problem.
Richt took a team that got smashed 58-0 to a 9, then 10 wins in ONE season. While battling the early stages of Parkinson’s.
The only thing wrong with Miami is incompetence in its hiring processes.
Our assistants are good, but they are not good enough to bail out an incompetent head coach. What past coaches do at other stops is irrelevant. They were bad fits for what WE NEED.
We have been hiring fatally flawed coaches for so long, it mind fvcks you into thinking there is something wrong here that makes it impossible for anybody to win here. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. It is COMPLETE AND UTTER BULLSHYT! It is what the E before W and “Harvard of the South” morons WANT you to believe so that the fan base will accept incompetence, mediocrity, and failure.
The right coach will hire the right assistants and those assistants will fit our needs and recruit and develop our players to perform well to our clearly defined identity through a structure of competent processes.
There are many good coaches that won’t work here. There are some unheralded guys that would work here, especially if we start looking at pro coaches. A guy like Herm Edwards would be a good coach at Miami. There are others we should interview as well as the names posters here continually bring up.
Don’t get mind fvcked. The saboteurs win if you accept the narrative they have tried to create. There is mutiny rising in Hurricane Land and you are starting to hear things that have not been spoken of before. We have to keep turning up the heat and empower those who both care and have the knowledge to know WHERE TO START.
It is there. We just can’t be placated by half measures. Keep the heat on them. They are sweating.
