I know the disappointment for not hiring Saban and Belechick combination, but if this happens, let's all give this a chance.
We'll continue to have a great D, and add current and innovative offense, will be a force.
And don't forget, there is chance to bring in an up-and- coming DC.

Let's get behind a new team and the players who have invested in the team, and support our team.

**** Ponce

I wrote highly unlikely.
However, FAU was the only program that would offer him a head coach position and he didn't like Saban and wanted out. We could offer him double the money he's making now and in a 10 times bigger program with a higher profile that could catapult him into a big-time head coaching position

Since Ole Miss hired Rich Rod, Lane now has precedence to follow this type of role and could do the same.
Would yield great results on both sides of the ball to have them both

Bruh, dummies on the board still think Kiffin is at USC and forget that he was damaged goods. NO ONE wanted him for HC but FAU and it's a dead end, low paying job. At best he plods through three more years at FAU until a desperate low tier P5 school makes a run at him for HC. Miami catapults him past that. Win the ACC as OC in year 1 and he's NFL OC bound, guaranteed.

I ask this for understanding:
What is the hate for Frank Ponce?
Lack of experience at a P5 school?
Do you know Lane Kiffin or any other big name OC would want to come here?
How do you know that Diaz and Ponce will be failures?

You can neg if you like but please address these questions

Meanwhile, consider this:
Some wanted Lincoln Riley when he was at ECU, but because of his lack of experience at what is now a P5 school, many UM fans thought the idea was insane. He's done nothing but win with every opportunity.
Nick Saban was once a young assistant waiting for an opportunity
Jimmy Jonson hated when he first came to the Miami. Why? Because he wasn't the big name and didn't fit what the fans wanted.

Really then, HOW DO YOU KNOW?

Ponce is no Jimmy Johnson, I'm beyond ****ed off with this hire of Ponce. We are not Temple! We are Miami, and this program has self destructed. STOP BUYING TICKETS AND FIRE THAT TRANNY BLAKE JAMES

Never called plays even for App St. That's all you need to know

Ponce as QB coach as part of an offensive staff overhaul is one thing.

Ponce as the OC while Brown/Dugans/Hartley remain on staff would be absolute horse s***.
