I mean any QB in America would have loved the idea of coming here to compete with a guy the HC said would never start for him. If you do he's 9-6 in his career, while the most recent "best chance to win" is 4-2 including his most recent win where he went 6-24.

If Malik gives us the best chance of winning the bowl game then Mork should have told Jarren to GTFO when he requested a transfer.
 
Good Lord we have some dumb fans. Who gives a flying **** if we go 8 - 5 as opposed to 7 - 6? Do you guys realize we are in the Pinstripe Bowl, not the FBS playoffs? This game is a glorified scrimmage. There is literally no reason to start Rosier. He will not be here next year and at this rate, neither will Perry. It can only help to give Jarren some reps. At worst it might keep him from transferring and we’re probably going to need him next year.

I’m just tired of hearing about Perry already. Get this guy out of my face already. Really I’m disappointed so it ****ed me off that he can’t get his **** together wtf man.

Except for the BCS gaffe, I totally agree with all of this!!! There is literally no logical reason to start Malik over Kosi or JW.

The correct answer was he hasn't beaten a power 5 opponent this year. Also, what are his overall stats this year? There's also Jaren Williams whom we could trot out and see what he's got.
 
Really surprised Malik got zero snaps on senior night against Pitt. Kinda went against Richt’s MO.
 
You play the guy who is going to help you win the game.

This isn't the NBA where teams tank to get a better draft pick as nothing thing good comes from a loss in college. In particular as it would be more fuel for opposing schools come signing day.

Coaches are paid to win games. Coaches want to win games since winning games gets them paid more. Coaches care about wins and losses. They care what their records are, bowl games included. Players want to win as well. You don't play for a game down the road, you play for the game in front of you.

We'll try this again.

You play the guy who is going to help you win the game.

You get an opportunity to play some of the backups, you do it. Come next year, yes Malik will be gone, but when UF comes to town the guy you want to play may be injured and you just tossed this game away for what?

No!!No!! No more Malik. He lost almost every game he started this year. We have nothing to lose playing Williams. I can’t stand watching him play any longer. We have suffered enough with his play.
