If Kosi or Weldon don't start we know we have a corch.

You’re not wrong, but there’s more to it than that. If we continue to field shlt QB play, HE’S fvcked. Doesn’t matter who the QB is.

If he starts Perry, and Perry sucks, the fan base will turn on him and Richt will catch heat for not sticking with Rosier or tabbing Cade.

Same plays out if Weldon sucks. And if it’s Williams, he’s going to look like an idiot who threw a TF out there before he was ready.

Any decision he makes has to be a net positive or the fans will skewer him.

He is getting paid a lot of money to make the correct decision. If he literally can't trot anything out better then Rosier after year 3(with 2 4 star QB that he/his son personally recruited) then he needs to hire someone that actually is able to evaluate/develop QBs and get rid of his son.

You are right.

If corch Rich, after 3 years, can't get someone to proficiently play the QB1 position then he doesn't deserve to be HC1.

Pretty sure Richt already said Rosier will start. I’ll reserve judgment until we see what happens after the first series.

I hope he will too but you using ancient history as a predictor of the future can’t have it both ways. Dealing with the present all that old **** he did is irrelevant

2016 Brad Kaaya - 150.3 QB rating wich ranks 3rd at Miami

Is that ancient?

Brad was good before richt got here lol he won acc rookie of the year

Yup. That was also his best season.

Why are you trying sooo hard to argue against Richt being a good QB coach? The data says otherwise.

Seems unhealthy to be dooming yourself to misery.

I am not just seeing Rosier. I watched UGA during his tenure. He got lucky with a few elite QBs such as Stafford, but he is just another fake QB guru like Mullen. Another fact is that Richt can't win important games, but for some reason you like to ignore it and think he will somehow turn it around after 18 years.

The problem with the “important game” standard is that any game you lose becomes an important game and most big wins don’t look as impressive in the rear view mirror. The 2 SEC championship games must not be important because he lost an SEC championship game to Bama. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Naw I’m just trying to make you realize that richt is not bulletproof to criticizism. has he done good yes but he’s also come up short and some people’s concerns are valid. So y’all can’t come on the board and act like people are crazy or not fans because they have questions about richt. It’s a lot remain to be seen if he will make changes or remain stubborn and do the samething we’ve been doing

Those 2 championships came in 2 of the weakest years in recent SEC history. The one win they had 3 losses that season in 05 and in 02 the second best team was a 10-3 Bama. Richt loses to less talented teams EVERY SINGLE YEAR. Name another coach that actually gets respect that can say the same. Usually he loses to multiple less talented teams and it always happens to be in big time/important games.

Wel he sure didn’t lose to a less talented team last week. LSU has out recruited us. Also you can’t show me a coach at a talented school that doesn’t lose to less talented teams. Dabo lost to Pitt and Cuse. Any Saban loss is to a less talented school. Jimbo. It happens. Richts just been in the game longer than most so there’s more to choose from

That is BS. They do not lose EVERY SINGLE YEAR. Richt does. Richt is a walking meme with Richting up games. When was the last time Richt beat a more talented team? According to you and the Richt brigade 3 star Miami guys are better then other states 4 and 5 stars so we should have more talent then LSU. Regardless they don't have enough talent to blow us out. Richt got out coached by coach O.

100%

He either rights the ship and gets it done or he has to leave. Here’s the thing, though. I get that a lot of people think Mark Richt is a squishy coach who tends to play it safe, and he’s done things to earn that moniker. But I believe he wants to win. At some point someone has to step up and be that safe option. Every QB on the roster has superior talent to Rosier. They’ve got three weeks to prove that they can competently run the offense without putting the ball in harm’s way.

We all know what Malik can and can’t do, but there was zero chance that anyone with zero game experience was going to start against LSU in the season opener over a guy that won 10 games last season.

Our season begins anew today. All of our goals are still on the table, and solid to good play from under center can help us get it done. Time for someone to man the fvck up.

You can choose to focus on last week, and be miserable. Blame and lash out in all directions like a 5 year old. If that's how you wanna roll ok. Be miserable. Disagree with actual facts that suggest our future at QB is probably bright. No problem. Go for it. I'm not gonna argue with ya.

Actual facts? No, you're stating an opinion.

Here are the actual facts: Rosier has been under Richt's tutelage for 14 games, now. Per you, you're saying that Mark is the one actually prepping him. If so, out of the 14 games, Rosier has completed over 50% of his passes only 6x. Rosier over his last 7 games have gone 10 TDs and 12ints.

The only one acting like a 5 yr old is you. You're acting like a groupie v. accepting the facts that we have an issue at the QB position. If Rosier is the best we have, then that's a problem. If Rosier is the best we have, then why are we not going after a QB for 2019? I think we're not going after a QB for 19 b/c of more nepotism being shown for Mark's nephew, Max, in my OPINION.

Regardless, get a clue; this is not about 1 game as you continue to mention in every thread where you're defending Richt. I was giving Richt a pass and putting it on Jon, but now since you're saying I have "rocks for brains" if I don't think Mark is not coaching the QBs, then ABSOLUTELY we have a much bigger problem.
