I like Gundy but haven't done any serious research on him but from what I can remember doesn't he find good teams but never really goes anywhere? Like Big game Bob.... Good record teams that ultimately always fall short?

His biggest downfall seems to be that he never has a defense.

Yeah. That's basically all I know about him. But has he ever really played for something? Or just consistently ranked teams that have tough loses and ultimately fall out of serious conversations?

Is this something we want to sign up for? Nice records but nothing to show for it? Or do you guys think he comes here and all of a sudden gets over the hump?

That's the way I see it.

With all of Pickens $$$$ at OSU, he had a few great years there, and a few 10-3....but tons more mediocre seasons.

This gig would be a whole different world....money to blow to coaching on a budget.
