If I Had To Complain I Would Say Our RB Rotations Have Been Awful

I somewhat agree.
Having Pringle in the series when we are inside our own 1 yard line was completely baffling. (tackled for a safety)
You have to go with either Fletcher or Mallory in that situation.

The only compliant about yesterday’s game is that Nickel never threw the ball. We wasted potentially good reps. Only compliant about yesterday.

He has been hurt
Cristobal has been saying it
Y’all don’t know anything about this team
Y’all just talking 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The rb rotation yesterday was interesting. Lyle ran impressively v FSU - gets 4 carries compared to Pringle's 6. Seems to be an effort to keep Pringle engaged. He proved his value last year down the stretch. On the other hand, Lyle has put together a couple solid outings and should be #3 going forward.

Mallory lights up FSU, yards per carry blows others away, gets 7 carries today. Fletch, hand still banged up gets 13 carries, even a couple after game is on ice.

To me, a bit odd.

You're pretty consistently critical of posters (I've read your 28 posts), so by all means..share your insights. Would enjoy hearing your analysis regarding the rb room, and the rest of the roster as well for that matter.

My only knock in this regard is Fletcher still getting carries while up 30. Plenty of RB depth to eat carries in meaningless time.

Being up 30 doesn't mean the rest of the game is meaningless time. Who guages what time is meaningless and when the meaningless time begins?

The guy on a coach looking at the Final box score, then posting about it?

Pringle hasn’t looked good this year but imo we aren’t running the right type of plays for him either. I think Jordan Lyle is gaining more and more confidence each game which is great .
Change your play calls for one guy means the opposing defense knows what you're calling which then leads to those plays also not working.

If you can't run your offense because 1 guy can't cut it and he needs the entire play calling tailored to him then the guy is the issue not the staff.

Pringle at best is a guy you run 15 times against the NC States to keep Fletch, Mallory and Lyle a day off.

Or, he's a gadget player

I want to see Pringle used more in space, between the 20s. Blitz-beating swing passes and checkdowns, I think he'd be really good as a pass catching back

Listen…this isn’t rocket science. You’re up 30 points late in the second half. No need to risk injury to your proven playoff star player. Seems like Mario felt the same way after Toney got lit up on a pass when the game was well out of reach.

It’s not so to say change your play calls for one guy but I know If Pringle is in there I know im not just going to spam up the gut runs since he’s a smaller back. You can get him on them toss sweeps, stretch runs, misdirection, screens even those jet sweep passes we give Toney

I agree to a degree but when in Pringle also presents also liabilities like in the pass pro.

I'd rather Lyle get Pringles carries

I think having Pringle in backed up at the 2 was a bit of coaching gamesmanship, I think they basically told Pringle “show us what you’re made of in a tough situation”

I don’t think Dawson would be dumb enough to do that in a game with real stakes, we were just up enough in this game to where it was a glorified scrimmage so you can do these little tests for your players

"Up 30 late in the 2nd half" -- Still not buying what you're selling.

"Seems like Mario felt the same way",.....let me teach you a little bit about Hurricane football in games like these. Whether it's the start of the 2nd half or the 4th quarter,...we've for years had a standard of getting one last good drive in at the beginning of the 4th if we have the ball,...then taking some starters out.

I knew before the 4th had began that the offensive starters would get 1 last drive. You didnt know because you kinda have some things to still learn about the way we do things.

I looked at the drive charts available and I saw no carries by Fletcher....a player that's important, but may not even be our best back at the moment. I didnt see him getting any carries in the 4th.

You're entitled to your opinion but I'm also entitled to tell you "No thanks!", Dixie.

Football and injuries are synonymous and coaching the game scared of injuries every minute is something I really dont want to see out of my UM Hurricane team. We can start cancelling so much practice and everything as well but no....I'll hope we stay away from the couch potato suggestions and play kids until we want to. Keep the constant fear to yourself.

It’s not fear…it’s common sense. Explain to me the benefit of running Mark Fletcher

Couch potato? Did you play in the game? It’s not fear..it’s common sense. Miami is up big vs a team who can’t move the football due to starting qb injury. The game is OVER. There’s several RBs in the room that could use the snaps. Again…I bet you puckered up when Toney got leveled with 59 seconds remaining in third quarter while leading 45-14. Brilliant having him in the game during GARBAGE TIME.
