You have to pull out all the stops to get people in the stadium next Saturday. Yeah yeah, I know, I know. Who wants to waste time with this stupid team, F Mario, not worth the time or effort and all that. The bottom line is you have a top 10 team coming to town and a chance to win 8 games. Can’t have another mostly empty stadium. It won’t be packed by any means, but it needs to be respectable. As an AD he needs to find a way to get people there.

I remember when Louisville was the little dog and we were the big dog. Now we're limping in.

I'm just hoping for a competitive game. I don't care about the crowd anymore. The administration doesn't. The only thing that's annoying is when we have an embarrassingly small crowd and no-nothing fans are cheering that it's packed.

usually employee day is a big one but they did that for UVA and miami oh. students are also gonna be on break for lville and all would be home by then.

The issue is if you do the things he can and ideally should do to try and make the optics play, you’ll **** off all existing ticket holders

He can worry about that later, and season-ticket holders, myself included, are already ****ed off. It’s a unique situation this Saturday. One time deal. Get butts in the seats best you can. It’s worth ****ing off a couple season-ticket holders if you can avoid having a total embarrassment of a crowd show up.

Another rule of marketing- just because it’s free doesn’t mean people take it…

even if you spend no money at the stadium it’s going to cost you- parking gas etc

don’t see it happening

Why is this absolutely "needed"? Having a big crowd when the previous 6 were "meh" is going to change the narrative about the majority of our ridiculously fair weather fanbase?

I'm with you as far as being at the game myself. Been a season ticket holder for 30 years now. I'll be there Saturday like all the other games this year, but if actual games with meaning against Texas A&M, GT, Virginia, and Clemson didn't bring out huge crowds, why is this particular game so imperative for them to come out?

Make the games $5 for any seat. Bring the kids.

Just try it once.

No need to worry about that. Last home game and fans will show if nothing more than to watch the QB debacle. Mario will be coy all week and pretend not to know who he’s going to start. :hammering-head:

Isn’t he living in SC? If he needs to do anything it is to get UNC, Clemson, FSU and 4 others on board with breaking up the conference before SMU and Stanford have voting rights.

SC? Is this a joke?
