it will blow my mind on the brains of diaz, or lack thereof, if he doesn't take full command of this once super strong defense.

Seriously. I usually advocate for quality coaching but this is where recruiting should be the priority. Diaz is the best DC we can get. Rumph is the best CB coach we can get. We should get a great DL coach like Simpson and the other spots should be elite recruiters. Patke is total dead weight and Baker is worse cause his playcalling is harmful. Get an LB coach who can pull a Flowe or Arthur Brown, and if Banda can't get the job done get a DB coach who can help recruit for Rumph. So much excess and waste on the defensive staff right now.
 
Manny wont hire anyone that will run something other than what he runs. So even if the best DC is available he won't hire him if does anything different. Unfortunately

I voted in this poll but honestly this thread can't be serious can it? Manny is going to go from hiring his water/coffee boys as defensive coaches to hiring guys like Strong or Shannon who have actually been head coaches, including one guy who used to be HC here?

This site never fails to deliver the LOL.
 
Would've liked Zach Arnett from San Diego State, but Syracuse hired him last week.

Stop it. Too logical and expensive for UM....not to mention, how would Manny feel if he had someone that could arguably coach a defense better?
That is what is most important, and of course the logistics of a football operation James learned from chess club.

Bozo the clown will be the next dc.clown ad,clown hc get the hint.reason they didn't want zo is they don't want anyone to make them look bad or know more than they do.this ship is already sunk and it hasn't left the dock yet.
 
Idk how I missed it, but did Manny fire blake or has there been talk of him wanting to fire him???
