I'd hate to think we threw the season away........

Did I say expectations changed? Just reiterating a point re: the path to the playoff.

Is it a rule that people have to be argumentative online and put words in people's mouths? I'd think most of us are better/smarter than that.

Fact is we don't know what Perry did to get suspended. I'm a fan of Jimmy Johnson as much any cane is, and Richt does have some of that loose style as well (turnover chain, allows alum on sidelines, etc), but remember also that Richt came up under Bowden. Who suspended Randy Moss. There are appropriate times to bench a player imo. You have to hold players accountable or else you get what we got under Coker.

Maybe what Perry was feeling at home while his team was having a rough game in Texas really gave him a kick in the *** he needed. Who knows and who cares really. We are rolling now only look forward.

There's nothing wrong with having a program of integrity. It may even make a better team in the long run. Clearly is working right now.

How can we throw our season away if we still have everything in front of us. Our job is to win the ACC and knock Clemson out of contention. Perry will have his opportunity. Last season not one team finished undefeated, its rare. We play a team like LSU at the beginning, a caliber team that other teams will play at the end. And i predicted it can galvanize the team. We lost that game in a 10 minute period in the second quarter, with Feagles bad punting and the pick 6. They didn't man handle us. But it can make people write u off and u keep winning and we are smashing the bad teams like you are supposed to do, unlike last season

We don't have everything in front of us. What we do have is a huge herpetic blister in our W-L column.
 
1 loss conference champions just don’t get in the playoffs ever. Literally never happened. Last year is proof. We need LSU to win the natty for us to get in

reportedly, it was multiple things that led up to the suspension. nevertheless, from what romberg and others have said about perry prior to the suspension was that he wasnt taking the opportunity seriously and didn't know the playbook and stuff. he did say he changed everything once he found out about the starting job (going to rosier). regardless of what is true or isn't regarding perrys suspension, it seems to have made him better for it in the long run.

lol clemson lost to cuse and pitt (Away and Home) and made the playoffs lol. Bama had a loss right before the SEC title game and made the playoffs. They'd always lose to Ole Miss and make it. OSU lost to Va Tech and made it. OU lost to ISU and made it. if we were to have a loss, better off early in the year against a top 5 team (for now) than later on against a scrub.
