Icoming LB shocks Miami Coaches

Give me a guy who is fast with instincts ANY day over a guy the "right size".

Was likely going to redshirt anyway, so its no biggie.

Imagine if Grace would have redshirted...or Spence.

But I have to ask - how in the **** was this a shock? Ice coached at BTW and has a trillion ties there -how is this a shock to this staff?

This is the same staff that was "unaware" of comments by chickillo and duke's mom. Its safe to say a lot of things come to a shock to goldie and co

because it's out staff. they are never in the know of anything going on

My first post here, enjoy the site.

I think the shock wasn't that he cut a few lb.'s for track but that I think he got all the way down to 189 (which may have a lot to do with that eye opening 10.7). Kid seemed like he was already pretty light so going so far in that direction probably "shocked" the coaches. As another poster said he'll shirt anyway, short of a catastrophe, so no biggie.

Let him use that speed to play sideline to sideline, if I'm UM, I would let him play in the 200-210 range. Utilize his speed as an advantage. If he can get to the ball and make plays then it does not make a difference. Now if he can't stay uninjured due to his weight that is another story and he may have to increase in weight. 10.7 is **** good news though especially coming from a kid no one expected in the class.
